- Morning commute on the Honda NT 1100 on a cold and Icy morning. Didn't expect the chaos near to journeys end. Looking forward to better weather and brighter days, and less traffic.

I don't envy you having to negotiate that traffic every day especially in the dark and frost but at least with the bike your not held up in it for hours.

The traffic was particularly bad all around the area on that day. It took somebody I know over 3 hours to do 18 miles and we pay a lot for the pleasure…the roads and road systems around the area are diabolical
Totally agree with your comments. One reason I travel by motorbike, there were a few late arrivals to work that day, but I made it on time, Thanks to my very nimble NT 1100. Cheers
I have only managed to get about an hour and a half ride since NYE. Nothing heated and kept it in town. Froze my bits. Schools cancelled yesterday. IMC conditions until next weekend and then - temps (F). But it might be ice free. Nice job
Winter does reduce your riding time. Cold we can deal with but ice and snow is more challenging. Keep them videos rolling. Weather permitting. Ride safe. Cheers
Horrendous traffic and thankfully no longer have to suffer commuting traffic. I would hate to do that every working day but the benefits of the bike shines through, even on cold wintry days.
Was a very bad morning, You think its all going well and you get a Jam just around the next bend, Something we have to deal with, not like this every day fortunatley. Your very fortunate to have them lovely roads and views up there in Scotland. Cheers

Oh wow! No wonder you use the bike for commuting! You'd never get there in a car 🤣I really didn't think you would squeeze through the gap past the lorry, that was tight! The headlight looks to be very bright on the NT1100, I'm guessing full beam is very impressive? Decent lights are so important on a motorbike, I remember back in the 70's I had a Kawasaki Z400 twin and the lights were hopeless, anyway I fitted a Cibie headlight unit, wow it was a revelation!!! I could see past my front mudguard! 😆
I could have gone around the lorry but thought I would give it a go. The NT 1100 is not too much wider than the NC750X only has more bodywork giving the impression its wide. If the handlebars to through your ok, but with panniers I think It's a fraction wider. I will have to give it a measure one day. The lights are reasonable and I dont have any issues with them. I will be adding 2 spot lights for the front in time, Maybe not the Honda ones as they are quite expensive for what they are. Thanks fo your comments. @@kimetogo Many thanks, I really do need to start adding more content to my channel, it's been a tough few year's though, divorce, moving house, just been so busy with other "stuff". I did buy some new GoPro gear but I had mic problems and the sound was awful so I never uploaded any of my recordings, I think I'm going to purchase a set of DJI mics, they are wireless and seem very good. If you are thinking of adding more lighting, Denali is worth a look, usually you can buy them in a kit form with the appropriate wiring loom and fittings, kind regards, Dennis.
I know how it is life gets on the way sometimes. Thanks for the tip when the time comes I will check them out. Chertd
