- Here is the first of two Highlights videos dedicated to the "Aratura Trattori d'Epoca - Sagra di San Lorenzo 2021" (4rd Plowing Party for Vintage Tractors) which took place in Baura (FE) and was organized by the Trattoristi Ferraresi d'Epoca Group. The number of agricultural vehicles that arrived from several regions of Italy, over 100, was impressive with a squadron of Landini Testa Calda among which Vèlite, Super Landini, 40hp, 44 Major, L35, L45, etc. Other manufacturers include Orsi, OM, Same, Fiat, Fordson, Ford, Porsche & Steyr. Always fascinating is the characteristic procedure for turning them on with the heating of the head. Hearing them snorting and working in the fields with tools of the time is always very interesting. Looking at them at work, we realize how much agricultural mechanization has made tremendous progress. Congratulations to the organizers and owners for keeping traditions alive and preserving authentic metal jewels of history at their best! Questo è il primo di due video Highlights dedicati alla 4° Festa con Aratura per Trattori d'Epoca che si è svolta a Baura (FE) durante la Sagra di San Lorenzo 2021 ed organizzata dal Gruppo Trattoristi Ferraresi d'Epoca. Per il secondo anno consecutivo, con grande piacere, sono tornato a filmare questa splendida sagra dove oltre 100 trattori, da più regioni d'Italia, si sono riuniti per trascorrere un bel weekend in compagnia. Impressionante lo squadrone di Landini Testa Calda fra i quali Vèlite, Super Landini, 40hp, 44 Major, L55, L35, L45, ecc. Fra gli altri costruttori presenti troviamo Orsi, OM, Same, Fiat, Fordson, Ford, Porsche & Steyr. Sempre affascinante il carattristico procedimento per accenderli con il riscaldamento della testa. Sentirli sbuffare e lavorare nei campi con strumenti dell'epoca è sempre molto interessante. L'estensione del terreno scelto era davvero enorme, decine di ettari a disposizione, pronti per essere arati come accadeva molti decenni addietro. Complimenti agli organizzatori ed ai proprietari per mantenere vive le tradizioni e conservare al meglio autentici gioielli metallici di storia! I like the fact that several of the tractors seems to look fresh from restoration, and they sent them to plow the fields.
That's exactly how it is, several collectors restore them for use, and this is fantastic.

Ciao, volevo rassicurarti su Davide, sta bene. Nell'ultimo anno e mezzo la sua vita è molto cambiata ed è preso con gli impegni familiari. Questo 2022 sarà per lui un'anno quasi sabbatico. Ma sono convinto che appena potrà tornerà a produrre materiale per il canale. Se non risponde è perchè è preso da 1000 cose e non ha tempo di stare al PC.

Those big singles look like they take some practice to get started properly. I'm guessing that they could end up running backwards if the operator doesn't flick the flywheel at just the right time.
That's right, that's what I think too; in two days of ploughing, they ploughed dozens of hectares, all free for the owner of the land who made it available. But, of course, it takes practice to start up them, and you have to turn the flywheel in the right direction to avoid starting the engine in the opposite direction... 😅
There was a Lancia and a Porsche; no Lamborghinis though?
No Lamborghini tractors; they are very rare to see; I hope someday to film one in action. I'll make a specific video for that tractor fitted with a Lancia truck engine. I think it's a unique specimen.

Davvero tanti, nei campi, ad arare su tre diversi appezzamenti in contemporanea, direi almeno 60 trattori. Nel parco espositivo invece erano oltre 100. Un gran bel raduno 👍
