Aer Lingus Full Flight | Birmingham to Dublin | Airbus A320 **with ATC**

- A full length full flight video in real time with Aer Lingus, from Birmingham to Dublin, onboard Airbus A320 EI-DEO (in Irish Rugby livery) operating flight EI263 on April 1 2016.
*Every moment of the flight included from airport to airport. ATC from entry into Irish airspace.*
Our journey today begins outside the terminal at Birmingham Airport, early in the morning. We enter the terminal, and after checking in our luggage head through security to the departure lounge. We are soon called for boarding and we make our way to gate 55, to see our aircraft waiting for us - Aer Lingus' logojet EI-DEO in Irish Rugby livery.
Before long we begin to board and walk out to our waiting aircraft, taking our seat in row 8. It isn't long before we push back, and taxi out to runway 15 at Birmingham. We depart to the south, making a sweeping left turn as we climb to the northwest towards Liverpool.
Cruise altitude today is a relatively low 18,000ft on such a short flight, and it's not long before we commence our descent towards Dublin. Today's arrival calls for a rare landing on runway 16 at Dublin, and as such we are vectored around quite a bit to establish on the southbound approach towards Dublin.
We touch down on schedule, taxying into a stand at Terminal 1. We then disembark and have a long walk to Terminal 2, before going through the baggage claim and emerging into the arrivals hall, and walking to the street.

I flew with Aer Lingus from Glasgow to Dublin. Amazing service. The staff were so friendly. Not a massive fan of flying but I did enjoy the 30 minute flight.

Hi, thanks for your comment! On this video I used an SJCam SJ5000 for the airport walkthrough, and I always use a GoPro Hero4 for the window footage attached to the window with a suction cup (links to all of my equipment are in the description) :)

A fairly cloudy day for that flight, still a really nice video to watch. 18,000 FT is really low and I find you are always in the cloud cover on these short hops, which i'm not that much of a fan of. I'm always really impressed with your videos, thanks for posting.
Yes it can be very frustrating. The weather over the northwest of England is rarely cloud-free, and they stay really low for such a short hop. I once came back from Cork on an ATR72 and we were in cloud from ground level at Cork (dense fog) until short final at Birmingham. Didn't even release that video as there was literally nothing to see for almost two hours! Fortunately the return flight DUB-BHX was very clear and sunny, I'll be releasing that one in a couple of weeks :)
I agree with you there, I have flown BRS-DUB and LHR-DUB a few times and it's always cloudy. At least the flights from LHR seem to go a little bit higher, but not much. From Bristol I had a sunny day and it was nice to see the entire journey for a change. I look forward to your next video
I've done DUB-LHR before on a clear day which was pretty nice. BHX-ORK on a sunny day is a lovely flight, you get some wonderful views of South Wales and the south coast of Ireland. Thank you :)

I’m glad I flew to the UK when I did last year because I probably wouldn’t be able to enjoy myself there as much if I went during COVID and probably wouldn’t have been even able to enter it since I’m from the US

You ever flown to/from Humberside? Nice little airport but shame it's declining in airlines and passenger numbers. Though, with the return of year-round flights from Thomson, and Hull's city of culture, I guess airlines may potentially see viability in adding routes there:)
I've not flown from there but visited it many times. It's around an hour from my house and I've considered flying from their with KLM many times, maybe I will one day :)

+Corinne Cooper To be honest they are both about the same. They are usually about the same price, including add ons like baggage and food, Ryanair crew are usually a bit friendlier and on time more but Aer Lingus give you air miles so it's usually down to the most convenient flight times.

Yep tell me about it! We parked at Terminal 1 and had to use the airside connector to take us through to Terminal 2, which makes a very long walk!

Hi, for this flight I used the archives from LiveATC.net. For other flights, I use a combination of LiveATC, GlobalTuners and an onboard scaner where it is permitted.
