- A full length full flight video in real time, from Dublin to Birmingham onboard Ryanair Boeing 737-800 EI-FOZ, operating flight FR664 on April 5 2016.
The video begins outside Terminal 1 at Dublin Airport, before we check in and make our way through security to airside. We head down to the gate, and before too long board our ride to Birmingham - a brand new Boeing 737-800 that was delivered just the previous day.
After boarding this smart, shiny aircraft, we push back and taxi to runway 28, departing on a beautiful sunny spring morning across Ireland. We climb to our cruising altitude of FL230, and cross the Irish Sea north of Wales. We get a great view of the Isle of Man and Liverpool, before we make a right turn and commence our descent over Cheshire towards Birmingham.
It remains a clear sunny day for the entire flight and we get a stunning view of the whole of Birmingham as we commence our approach to runway 33 at Birmingham.
We touch down a few minutes ahead of schedule on runway 33, before taxying into the terminal. We then disembark the aircraft and make our way through the airport, collecting luggage and heading out to the street outside the terminal.

Ryanair always makes you walk up the side steps of a jetty 1:42:25 because it saves money although at some airports such as the Spanish ones they'll coonect a jetty to the aircraft.
+MrGriser Yep it's interesting as I've never had a jetty connected with Ryanair, but often had to walk up the steps to a jetty!
Interestingly having a jetty doesn't cost anything extra, I know for a fact at BHX. Low Cost Carriers don't use them as they believe, if they do, customers think they are paying for the extra privilege (when they're not)

That's interesting to know Joe. I imagined it would cost more as they'd need somebody to operate the jetty, but obviously not :) I really enjoy using the airstairs, awesome to walk around the aircraft before you board :)

I use FR664 fairly often when I am going over to B'ham for Villa games, have just been there on Monday (Boxing Day) again. So far I have used Ryanair 30+ times (not only to BHX) and had no reason to complain, it's cheaper that a train ticket to Galway...

Sure thing. I use a Yupiteru MVT-7300, I've had it for many years but it's pretty compact and gets some excellent reception onboard.

Awesome! I haven't had the pleasure of flying Monarch but everything I've heard would say they are the better airline to fly with. Ryanair are still pretty decent though and can be a lot cheaper.

That's awesome I'd love to see your videos :) Most airlines are fine with it, who are you flying with? The only one I've had issues with was a PHL crew on American, but that was just a woman with a poor attitude and the pilot told her it was fine :)
inflight Video im flying NCL-DUB-GLA return with ryanair. then in Dec/Jan im flying from Manchester to Adelaide with qatar on board B787 & A350, but have kids with me but hopefully they dont spoil video ha I'll reply to this video when there uploaded. i only have cheap wannabe go-pro with similar mount and a gimbal (anti-shake) bracket so see how it goes!
That's awesome, so lucky to get the 787 and A350 in one trip! Flying with kids isn't too bad I've had mine with me for a few of the full flights I've done (most recently EMA-CCF) and to be honest you'd probably never tell :)

How was your experience ? I've heard some pretty bad reviews about it.
I really like Ryanair. They are cheap, and one of the most reliable airlines. I've never had much of a delay with them, and the onboard food is decent quality and pretty cheap. The crew are usually very young and service does vary a little onboard, but when all you need is a coffee on a 2 hour flight it is more than acceptable. The aircraft are all really new as well, this one was just two days old when I flew on it :)

I usually hate boarding music with a passion. Especially when it's a low cost carrier that tries to be 'hip' with pop music, Jet2 I'm looking your way ;) I do like the boarding music on Emirates though.

It was very busy, and the screaming and kicking 3-4 year old behind me was very frustrating!! Glad you enjoyed it, I have a 12.5 hour flight booked for midsummer to San Francisco and then back again, in the meantime quite a few more flights in Europe filmed and booked :)

Oh wow hadn't heard that. I've bought tickets using the app before (in fact I bought our baggage and seats using the app for this flight). It's very handy.

Ryanair is cheaper than a train ticket. I've flown with them all over europe for £30 or less return and it feels dam good arriving in italy, greece, or spain or germany for £15. The best value mode of transport in the world and they've improved a lot.

I've not had the pleasure of travelling on Norwegian yet, but I hope to soon. I've flown on 3 737s with Ryanair this year, every one of them less than a month old and they are all in really nice condition and very smart inside.

Great video :) but I did notice something I don't know if you meant to do this or not but at a couple points in this video you used the same segments twice at 18:55 and 20:20 you shot the family in the seat in front of you and at 19:55 and 21:00 you caught the same people boarding again I'm not sure if you did this on purpose but I do my own travel videos so I've trained myself to notice these kinds of things but all in all great video :)

im terrified of flying the thought of falling from six miles in the air is just terrible there is a video on youube of the cabin of mh 17 just prior to departure
+lake fire That's a shame :( I must admit that I do get nervous when i fly, even after the amount of flights I take these days. I just got off a domestic BA flight this morning and my heartrate was through the roof throughout!
Mh 17 finished me flying once and for all after seeing the video of the cabin before the flight the folks setteling in for their trip and the cabin staff closing the overhead bins yet they all died a few hours after there is also a very heartbreaking pic taken by a 15 yo dutch lad called Gary Sloke he took a selfie with him and his mum on the plane just prior to takeoff it went viral afterwards there is a beautiful tribute video put up here by one of his family though

Either the dad in the seat in front of you, was playing a game with his baby regarding the pacifier or he uses the pacifier as a coping mechanism in order to fly.
Haha could be either :D You know, that 2 month old baby was silent throughout the flight. Behind me was a 4 year old little brat who didn't stop screaming, squealing and kicking/hitting my seat throughout the flight, with a mother who did nothing to stop it.

Since May 2017 Ryanair have changed their seating policy. If you DON'T PAY the supplement to seat together , they force separate your party accross the plane cabin. Lol, you can't fool us Ryanair, we spotted it!
