    👏👏👏👍👍👍. Love tis cabinet Dave. The drawers, the worktop, the tap and bowl. And, if I ever decide to get a larger van I will go over this small series again as I would love this set up. I love the look of all the timber and have always wanted a rustic feel. All I would have to do to this set up is to stain the timber a little darker, or maybe even scorch the wood to bring the grain out more. Keep the videos coming as they are so interesting and in laymen's terms for nuggets like me. I'll see you soon mate. Cheers.

      Hi Chris, Thanks a lot, I'm really pleased with the way this all worked out. Quite different to the earlier vans but it all worked out well. I'm looking at a Hi Top Vivaro next that should be an interesting challenge. Thanks

    What is the material that covers the walls? The gray floormat looking thing.

    • @dave-watson
      @dave-watson  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi, The material on the walls is what is called a "4 way stretch carpet". You can get it on ebay, amazon etc. Its fixed on with a spray adhesive. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching

    did you replace the seats from the younger version? and if so, could you show how to convert them?

    • @dave-watson
      @dave-watson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The seats on the van are standard I think. This is a Vivero Sportive and I believe that they are the original seats. Thanks for watching

    Looks very heavy for a campervan. My sink/burner top is on 12mm ply, and the panels are a mix of 6mm (5.5mm actual), & 9mm.

      Hi Carl, I know it looks heavy but it is extremally light. All of the cabinet work is also done mainly with softwood, 5.5 ply and 8mm cladding. The van also has a wooden Rock and Roll bed which weighs an amazing 25kg. Thanks for watching.

      @@dave-watson and a smaller van has proportionally more load. It's a pet hate of mine. I know of loads of overweight vans, and two were TH-camrs. One moved to Northern country, and the other did jetwashing.
      I'm not grassing, it's just a serious issue when your insurance is invalidated.
