Tubal, I’ve heard Ray say in many of his videos that”metal is clay” and by you using that piece of clay ,gives a really great visual of what is happening to the metal. I enjoy watching these, and other videos like this, always something new to pick up , everyone with a little different twist on how they do it, learn from the teachers, then make what you see work for you, thank you again Tubal for taking the time to make this video !🫡🇨🇦
Yo I appreciate the kind words man and thank you so much for watching all my videos and engaging in the comment section! It's helped my videos get put in front of more people that can benefit from them! You are greatly appreciated 🙏
Thank you for this brilliant demonstration. Everything seems so easy in your hands. Obviously, this ease hides years of experience and golden hands. Impressive. I'm definitely not into metalwork, but I find it magical to take a sheet of metal and shape it into an elegant shape.
Wow! I am glad I found your Channel. I am old now and have slowed down. I have patched and painted at least 30 plus vehicles thru the years. It never was my full time job but I enjoyed it. I like spray painting better at this stage. I have 3 more Vehicles that I want to complete while I am physically able and they need many panels to be made. I have at this point only watched 2 of your videos. I am inspired by your explanations on those two. I will watch them all and will continue my journey learning. Thanks!
Hey thank you very much! These are they comments that keep me inspired to make the best videos I possibly can! I'm thrilled I can inspire you to continue learning. If you have any questions you let me know! Thanks for watching!
Hello Sir, first of all, thank you very much for making such a clear and informative video. I just found this channel today. My question is, there's no one selling that kind of hammer in my country, is it still possible to use different type of hammer and get good result? Many thanks in advance
Hello my friend! yes absolutely! wood hammers work great! hammers can be built out of many different materials! Hell you can even carve one out of a tree branch and get really good results! maybe ill make a video on it! Thanks for the question!
Would this work for t6 6061? Got a project where I need something of that temper but can only get access to the sheets after they've been hardened and I don't have the money to get them re -tempered
That's an interesting question! I'd like to hear more about your project, possibly ask you some questions too if you want to book a free call with me. Here is a link in my to pick a day and time calendly.com/tubalcainbamf/interview
I believe it is usually 19g but 20g and 18g is usually readily available. Floors and firewalls should be 18g anything else you can mostly get away with 20g
