Does the inbuilt speakers in Vava chroma still output audio? I'm trying to see if I can just pair 2 surround speakers alone and use my hisense px1 pro built in speakers like a sound bar with WiSA speakers.

Great video but I was expecting more Dain. What settings were you using on your VAVA? I have the Platin Monaco 5.1 w/WISA and using RAW through the ARC port on my VAVA does not work. PCM is the only mode that works and will only get you "virtual" surround, not true Dolby Digital. That might be fine for some people, but for $900 and a nice projector like the VAVA I want true Dolby Digital. Under "Audio Settings" > "Audio Mode" > ""Direct" will get you true Dolby Digital. Movie, Music, and Night is virtual. Click "Advanced Settings" > "Audio Format" while playing your Xbox and you'll see what it is exactly playing. Maybe another video some other time to discuss the finer points and shortcomings of the VAVA and WISA? I had to purchase a HD Fury Arcana to get true Dolby Digital, which as a side benefit also got me Dolby Vision from the VAVA. Thanks! Love your videos man!

Can you connect a CD player to this for listening to music? Looking to migrate from the tuner 3.1 world to wireless 5.1 but want to play the CDs too without using the TV as a hub.

Yes you can add a CD player through the optical audio or HDMI port. Hope you like and sub to the channel!

Plug the sound system in to the HDMI ARC port and the fire stick in to another HDMI port and enable ARC in your tv menu

Will this work with a Sony Bravia TV that came out in 2011?

Any update of the performance of tour Denon 4700H particularly in its ability to properly offer dolby atmos vs dtsx vs auro 3D sound? (Joe and Tell noted he couldn’t get atmos to work properly with the receiver.) I am considering buying the same receiver. More value than the Marantz for the money?

Hey Marvin, Honestly the X4700h and atmos works great for me. Switching between Atmos, DTS-X or Auro 3D is a breeze with X4700h. What are your concerns in particular?
