Thank you Faisal for this. I fixed my door the same way by putting some aluminum spacer in there. The door didnt open from inside or outside. Now problem fixed.

100 car repair Karma points for you! Roll down the window and pull on the outside latch, it will open the hole so you can wind the wire in there easily

Roll down the window and pull on the outside latch, it will open the hole so you can wind the wire in there easily
