One of the Taiwan’s top leading universities, National Central University (NCU) has been one of the major research-oriented universities since 2001. It is a first-rate university with solid international qualifications. It has gained an international reputation for research and academic excellence. Cooperative education programs and research projects have grown in number over the years. Our main research fields are Astronautical Physics and Engineering Research Program, High Energy and High Field Physics Research Program, Earthquake Disaster & Risk Evaluation and Management Research Program, Cognitive Intelligence and Precision Healthcare Research Program, Environmental Monitoring and Technology Research Program, Space and Remote Sensing Research Program, and Astronomical Observation Research Program at Lulin Observatory.

More answers to the questions from participants that we do not have time to answer in the video as follow:
1. Please follow our admission handbook to prepare all the required documents to apply online. If a proof of the Chinese Proficiency is required by a department/graduate institute, this means they do not have enough English courses for you to graduate.
2. About the Admission and Scholarship: Everyone will be evaluated based on the previous academic performance, not by which country you are from.
3. The results will be announced in December for Spring Semester and in May for Fall Semester. Please read our admission handbook for the exact date for each academic year.
4. No entry exam is needed. The applications will be reviewed by all the required documents listed in the admission handbook.
5. Currently, we do not plan to visit any countries for face-to-face interview because of the pandemic. We hope we can do that as soon as the border is re-opened.
6. An exchange student can come to NCU for fall semester, spring semester or a whole year. However, please confirm with your international office for the term you are going to stay in NCU.
7. No scholarship is available for exchange students or double degree students.
8. Currently, Taiwan government only allow the degree-seeking students to enter Taiwan for Fall 2021. We do not know if they will open for all the students for Spring 2022 or not.

I am Amjad from India and I want to get admission at NCU for learning mandarin in this winter session, will Taiwan government give me Visa to learn mandarin 3 months course from 20 December 2021 to 16 march 2022?

as far as I know, the Taiwan government hasn't lifted the entry ban to short-term students. Please contact Ms. Hsu in Language Center for more updated information. Her email is ncu3802@ncu.edu.tw
How about the Dormitory for international and scholarship for sisters university ^^
What question do you want to know about the dormitory? The NCU scholarship is only for degree-seeking students.
