A track I compete at has a short chicane (left), directly followed by a 90 degree righthander that goes on to a long straight. Not sure if I should do all my braking before the chicane or break twice, before chicane and before righthander. Also tried going into the chicane flat out and do all the breaking before the right hand turn, but there isn't enough track and I slide past the apex.
I visited Sandown last summer during my UK Track Tour. It’s an awesome track with a nice flow (lots of hairpins!). Too bad a lot of my footage from the tour got corrupted :( I hope to vist Sandown when I’m in the UK again 🙌
If the chicane is made up of two U turns, the first turn is a late apex and I need to open the radius for the second turn, right ? So I can't drive in a straight line between both turns of the chicane ?
A corner made up of two U turns is a double hairpin. Your approach is correct 👍 Late apex for the first turn to open up the radius for the second turn.
Can you make a video about my local track?(Kart Mania)I don't want you to go there just explain the best lines I can take

I followed your skool!
But the problem is that how ever you take it you will still get overtaken by that hamilton
Through goes Hamilton 🗣️
your wide turn in will allow you to undercut them on the exit of the second half
Great video. Have you ever been to Daytona Sandown? Would love to see how you would tackle that track.

Could you do tips on ts warrington and it’s now electric
Sure, next time I’m in the UK I’ll have to visit Warrington again. Last time I drove there it was petrol.
@@kartingtips it has changed a lot like the turn up the ramp has gone and is now straight up the the ramp now
3:45 if you race and take the corner like that it’s considered of the track
Track limits are until the black tyre barrier in that corner
Have you ever been to Red Lodge Karting? It’s a great track and if so, what did you think of it?
Looks like an amazing track from the videos I’ve seen. Next time I’m in the UK I must visit it!

The losail chicane looks more like a hairpin
Guys I’m trying to start karting but I have 0 money and my parents aren’t rich. Anyone got advice?
Ask anyone locally if you can work some jobs for them to earn some money. I'll be praying for you dude!
