Definitely some bangers in the set. I'm glad they finally got the Terastallized cards right. Its always kinda fun when the chase cards are illustration rares instead of SIRs lol

Decent looking set, not a huge fan of the terra either, it’s hard to recognize the pokemon sometimes
The rainbow ex’s actually look really cool in person. The other ex’s are fine as usual but the rainbow ones have like an extra texture or something that I really like. I also made the exact same monsters inc abominable snowman comparison hahaha
Nice having a set I don’t want to spend money on, extremely mid imo. Gunna grab the bulbasaur and squirtle singles then save for the upcoming sets.

I don’t know if the bulbasaur and squirtle are in the set. Look at the set numbers on both cards. They go out of order from the rest of the set. Those were promos earlier in the year I believe.
They were promos in Japanese but I’m pretty certain in English they are part of the set

Blastoise Venusaur Greninja Lucario Bulbasaur Squirtle , still you guys saying it's mid?
It's the best set After 151
The bulbasaur and squirtles were released with a special deck set that also included the same charmander promo that we got in obisidian flames ETB. Notice The set code in the bottom left hand corner of those cards SVG vs SV7
The set is weird, I’m not a huge fan. Will pick up those gorgeous Bulbasaur and Squirtle IRs as singles, as well as the rainbow Lapras SRI.
I really like the illustration rates in this set- a lot of variation. I’m a Tera collector and it’s about time they did them in the rainbow border form- their on my list 💪
I think this set has some real potential especially with that bulbasaur and squirtle they can definitely carry with some other cards having potential too

I hope the art gets worse so we player's don't have to worry about collectors in our game

I got extremely lucky with this set and pulled the Lacey SAR in my second booster box. Extremely fun to open nonetheless
No shot the kingdra from shrouded fables is the best promo in the past 5 years.
I’m gonna go 6/10 for my opinion just seeing that. Might change mind in person aswell. I love some of those iillustraion rares but yeah SIR very poor
You need a pop filter. It's not a spider, it's a tick...joltik. stellar crown looks pretty cappy for the most part.
I like the set but its definitely on the smaller side. Way better than like obsidian and sv base. I think depending on hit rates it will still be pretty good but not a top 2 set of sv so far imo. Plus we have so many sets coming that are going to be sooo good.
Main chases from this are :
1. That shiny rainbow lapras
2. Squirtle
3. Bulbasaur
4. Zeraora
Don’t really care about the rest though. Love these videos though!! Helps me decide how much $$ I want to invest into new sets that drop.

The set has cards for the OG’s (lapras, blastoise, and Venasaur ex. And also the squirtle and bulbasaur illustration rares). Then we have a new type of ex and new Pokémon brought into the TCG. This set is everything modern fans could want, and not only that theirs also cards for the older fans and I think because of that this set is brilliant! I don’t get why this set gets so much hate, like yeah sets are going to be based on the DLC?

6/10 the rainbow is cool looking. Some of the arts are nice. Way better than shrouded fable that gets a 1/10 for the set. Promos only thing worth getting

Here's my thoughts man. First off the song you chose for the end of video I really enjoyed. I can see that song being played at the start of a movie as someone's going to work, going to school or something. Secondly, I think as collectors what people need to start thinking about is that the art. Rares are the alt arts of sword and shield. There are a couple cards that are already going above value of SARs or close to beating other SARs of sets and that's happening and I don't think it's a coincidence. Everyone's focus probably shouldn't be SAR's and should be the art rares.

Just a beginner's question. When a new set comes out you have several options like Blister packs for example. Do you have to buy a specific blister pack to get this card or are these cards also in the booster packs? And is this card needed to get a complete set or a master set?
If you see a card outside of the boosters it is most likely a promo version of the card. You cannot find that version inside the boosters themselves. A good example is the new kingdra promo card in the shrouded fable sets. You can pull a kingdra ex or even the alternate art but the promo can only come from the set where you see it on display. And to answer your next question, no promo cards are not needed for the master set. In fact a lot of promo cards are usually alternate art of cards from other sets.

the general consensus has been that pokemon's been dying off ever since the black and white era ended 💀 idkwym "pokemon in general has been dead" since 151, esp when the scarlet and violet era of cards in general has been considered the best they've ever looked art-wise
The tera stuff is so weird and un-pokemon-like imo. We've come a long way from the magic world Satoshi created and blessed us with during my early childhood. I got into the hobby with the 151 cards and have gotten some stuff from other sets, but damn nothing hits like the nostalgia of the original pokemon and those original gameboy games. That said, I speak as an older member of the hobby biased by my own experience, and don't want to gatekeep the world of pokemon for kids who may be truly interested and enamored by the magic of the new pokemon.
