      Hi, May I know how to set facebook ads to target overseas clients?

    Ben, thanks for this video. I learned a lot in a short amount of time. Many of these instructional videos on TH-cam are just so lengthy, they lose my attention. This video is short and sweet and gets straight to the point. Thank you for making this video. I have a niche service that I offer and I'm going to follow what you explained in this video and see what happens.

    For lookalike audiences - I’m a personal trainer, I will NEVER have thousands of customers. My clients stay with me for years. Could i do a lookalike audience for leads I’ve generated through FB lead ads? Because I may only have 15 clients at one time, but I have hundreds of past leads that never became clients or that used to be clients. Would that work or still not enough to base a lookalike on?

    Hi Ben, you helped me a lot with this video!
    I have a question that is not related to targeting but related to local business ads-
    Is it okay sometimes to run ads of my restaurant, without giving a discount? But just to remind my audience with a picture of the food and a simple copy, can it still bring customers to the restaurant?

    Great stuff - cheers Ben!
    You seem a lot more positive these days about the "Detailed Targeting Expansion" feature...
    For national and international campaigns - do you recommend turning that feature on for EVERY Ad Set? (eg. Warm Aud, Cold Auds, Lookalikes, etc).
    Cheers, Eddie

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Great question and you are right. I would turn it on for all cold audience ad sets but not for warm audience ones.

    Hi Ben. Great content. I'm wondering whether dropping pins always can only be done manually, or whether it's possible to upload a table of addresses or lat/long coordinates. Thinking for example of how a national chain could approach location based targeting.

    Hey Ben. I run ads for local gyms successfully but the main issue is a steep incline in lead costs after the audience hits high frequency. I switch up creatives and copy a lot but its still a struggle. We rotate between a men and womens campaign each month. Any tips?

    • @digitalwolfy8243
      @digitalwolfy8243 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should focus on heating up a cold audience. I would suggest here to work with influencers from your city and then use that material on Facebook ads. Email me at alex@digitalwolfy.com if you need some help.

    Hi Ben I have a question: I'm a wedding photographer and I try to target engaged couples in my city. But the targeting for engaged couples in this area is no bigger than 3400 people. I tried adding nearby cities but engaged couples in the area will be about 3700. I don't want to target just any couples who might not even be engaged or who are married already. So what should I do?

    • @digitalwolfy8243
      @digitalwolfy8243 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Have you thought to find similar interests related to a wedding, like wedding decorations maybe, anything that it's related can grow your audience! In my opinion, you should also use your video materials, to create video views campaigns and go broad so you can retarget after that the people that showed an interest in your video. Think about if a friend or a relative saw your video and they recommend your page to someone in need of a wedding photographer. I"m willing to help you further, write me an email at alex@digitalwolfy.com and I'll try to help you out.

    Quick Question Ben - For a local business should I choose "People living or recently in this location"? If not, what should I use?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would go with People who live in this location only - unless your business is something people travelling in and out could use

    I am targeting the Chinese-speaking audience in Toronto, Canada. Both the ad and Facebook lead form are written in Chinese. I specified location and language settings. The potential reach is around 85,000. It looks like a little small. How can I do this?

    Ben, if your local business is women only (gym) and the 18-65 year olds within say 12 miles is only 55,000, would you open it up to men too, and just rely on the copy to ‘target’ women?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Chis, if it's women only then I would just stick to women :)

  • @0009jo

    What would you say the age range should be roughly if I run a soccer business specifically for goalkeepers? 18-65+? And would you suggest adding a potential location if I have a friend in that specific state/area?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd probably reduce the upper end of that age range. I'm not sure why the friend would affect the targeting? I'd target the areas you think your customers will come from.

    Hi Ben, what's your reasoning behind the 250k figure, I'm don't understand why it's necessary to remove detailed targeting just to hit that number when my business won't serve most of those people anyway. Won't I just be paying for ads to be seen by people I can't serve?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Ekemini, good question. The reasoning is that we see poor results when we advertise to audiences smaller than that. I can understand your logic but that's not how it works in practice.

    Hey Ben, what if my local business population is 3 million. Should I go for 1% or 10%. And when are you going to release a program that we can purchase and if you already have one what is the link ?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would still go for 10% in that situation, otherwise your audience will be too small.
      I do indeed! It's been very popular since the launch in February and you can find out all the details here: www.leadguru.co.uk/facebook-ads-insiders/

    Hey Ben, question: do you think I could reach out to hotels and do Facebook marketing for them, or what service would you recommend to offer for Hotels?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not a big fan of any outreach methods for attracting clients. But sure you could work with hotels.

    What if I am advertising for a local nail salon in a large city? For example there are so many nail salons throughout the city that there won't be very many people that are going to be willing to travel from the north end of the city to the south when there are a bunch of nail salons in the north end of the city. Same question applies to a barber shop. What do you suggest?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In that situation you are probably going to have to go with open targeting and use a very narrow geographical area.

    Hey Ben, I tried to appeal my disabled ad account but after providing the required information, I discovered the send button wasn't working. it just loads for a second or 2 but remains on the same page. Is it a general problem or is it just my account?

    • @BenHeath
      @BenHeath  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's unfortunate but probably just an issue with your account. Facebook can be quite glitchy. I would try again later or tomorrow and see if it's working properly.

    You should make it so an advertisement plays every other minute on your videos instead of every 2 minutes. It's not annoying enough. I was gonna subscribe but got hit by 5 ads in 12 minutes. Stopped watching. I can understand an ad before the video and at the end of the video, but why every 2 minutes??? Won't be watching anymore of your videos.
