Really looking forward to this game being available in Australia.

Great review! The comparison to Nova Luna was really helpful.

I really enjoy this game. I have been playing it a lot on Tabletopia while I wait for the physical version to appear.

Nik, Sarah and I really like Luna Noca and it comes out often but you said you like this one better. Deciding if I get?? Looking at this or Meadow.

I had to have this one. Perfect play for family. Could be as big a hit as Azul with sister and Mom.

From the video it looks like you can see what colours are coming up in the tile stack. Did you find that's the case, and is it part of gameplay?

So a Rosenberg game where there is no feeding at the end of the rounds? hmmm :)

I think this is gonna be a miss for me. I’m starting to have flashbacks of Bruge (old version). I really don’t have any control of my strategy because I have the luck of the draw on the tiles. Z talked about maybe wanting to go big and get a 10 point tile, but in some of my games I didn’t have a choice they were all 10 point tiles. And I quickly ran out of discs.
Maybe this could be addresses like it was in the new version of Bruge.

My choice for this type of game is Habitats, the theme is much more interesting.

Nova Luna is one of my favorite abstract games of all time, up there only with Azul: Summer Pavillion. This one fell flat for me. The upkeep of putting the discs on the tiles is very obtrusive and counterintuitive to my brain, and the economy of discs seems like a half baked idea. Much more satisfying was the straightforward race with no victory points to satisfy tasks and empty your disc pool in Nova Luna. Also, it was easier to predict tiles and keep multiple possible scoring avenues open in Nova Luna compared to this one. NL is also massively prettier. But it's good everyone has more options.

Hmm it feels like this game would benefit from tile drafting. It would fix a couple of issues, especially play time

it is tile drafting. the players are drafting tiles literally the whole game.

Youre right, i meant hidden drafting. Like 5 tiles for each player

Player count indicates it has a solo mode-- wondering how that works...

Prettier package? No way. Nova Luna is far superior in production and gameplay. The piles you have to make everytime you buy a tile...seems boring and breaks people connection with the game.
