Keychkron K5 Pro - Of course, it's nobody's fault.

  • Enjoying my brand new Keychron k5 pro keyboard that I had to wait for about a month very impatiently.
    For real, the keyboard is great, but merry Christmas to me right.
    Can't blame ‪@KeychronKeyboard‬ , can't blame ‪@yunexpresseurope459‬ , can't blame local delivery service.
    Still, whatever works on it is great. Get one for sure, you will be happy. Red + Banana switches is a sweet combo, but get it from a local store after a throughout inspection.
    Avoid delivery companies at any cost as you already know they just don't care and that's how it is.
    In some cases like mine there's no way to send it back or to get a refund, so go to your local store if you want one. You will not regret putting your fat fingers on k5 pro!
    Other than the 90 degrees bending provided with love from some depressed guy working his a** off at some storage, the keyboard is awesome.
    Imagine reading something positive about an item that is already so damaged...
    I just had all the bad luck.
    That's it.
    I had to do all that online, since I can't do anything else. I thought it will help out a bit, you know mentally. Writing that is better than holding it inside.

    Looks like you need a curved desk. Pairs well with a curved screen too

    Alright, so here's an update for whoever is nolifer enough and also is curious about how Keychron handles this particular situation.

    Now, it is still not a 100 % confirmed replacement, but it seems that they are more than willing to do so.
    This is important for the following reasons:
    - Delivery companies did not replied to any of my requests. ( Global and local. )
    - Keychron is taking action, even when the whole thing might not be their fault, as in the title "it's nobody's fault". However, they want to help!
    - I will not get burned with the (for me) high price of the keyboard, but also it proves (once again I guess), that Keychron is a trustworthy company that you can feel absolutely safe to order from.
    Few more things about the keyboard that I'd like to share, regardless of the nobody's fault incident:
    - Keycaps that come with the keyboard are outstanding. That 'finger oil' issue thing that occurs on some keycaps is absent here. Very high quality keycaps bruh!
    - This one came with Gateron red ks-33 switches v2. The feeling of pressing the keys is like poking a cloud, even with the very short distance that the key travels.
    - The sound is somehow addicting, however this is super personal thing, so I can't call it a recommendation.
    Everything about the keyboard is outstanding, for real. Maybe I'm a bit overimpressed, generally because I own a 12 years old, $10 , trash KBD with rubber in it and I've never seen in person a keyboard of such high tier as the k5 pro during my whole lifespan.
    K5 PRO definitely has what they call 'premium' in it.
    It looks nice, it feels nice, it's pleasure to put your hands on it.
    Also you can still have some options for different keycaps ( if you want to experiment ) For me, XVX shine trough keycaps are the ones to try.
    I will at some point in time, hopefully be able to make a proper video with the new Keychron K5 Pro, with it's default keycaps, red switches and with the additional keycaps that I'm still waiting from XVX. I know that there are multiple videos on this topic out there, but I still have that unexplainable love towards k5 pro, so I will just have to do my own video about my own keyboard.
    At this point it feels like... it will be next year, maybe end of January. It depends on Keychron from now on. So don't wait for that... but yeah :)
    There's a very high chance that my personal Christmas will be saved and all of that thanks to Keychron. Delayed a lot, but saved.
    I will once again reply to this whenever they, if they confirm to 100% that a replacement was sent.

    Yo, I'm so sorry about this. I got mine today and noticed that the Numpad side was not flush with my desk. I put the feet up and it seemed to balance it out but when I put it back down, it was suddenly flush! Weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life. Anyway, I'm sorry about the inconvenience. I'm glad you got a refund though!

    If the box is damaged, push the issue with the freight company. This is unacceptable.

      the box is of course also damaged. still no reply from freight or keychron... but I guess busy christmas period.
