    I have a 2004 Mercedes S500 with over 190K miles. The front of the car has dropped, and I haven't checked for leaks, but I think it's time to replace the shocks. I watched your video, and it looks like a doable DIY project. Thanks for explaining everything so clearly!

    You are the first video that shows the correct way to remove the sensors by pushing the clip down!
    For some reason everyone wants to remove it, I don't know why. I think even arnott shows the guy taking it out. It's easy to lose or break.

      i recently changed the front shocks with a friend following your video. Thank you, it worked terrific. A real sense of achievement. While inspecting the undercarriage, I noticed a few seals towards the rear that seemed a little wet. I would like to change those seals or gaskets however it looks as if I have to lower the muffler and the exhaust brackets look rusty and should be replaced. Have you ever had to do this? Any input would appreciated. Again, I apologize for the wordiness. Thank you as always.

    What size little wrench that is you're using for the air line on top of the strut?

    • @masood-tv
      @masood-tv  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Frinly, I believe it is either 8mm or 10mm - I don't remember exactly. With these cars, it makes sense to have a metric socket and wrench set covering 7mm to 21mm...

    Hi Masood - At the end of this video, you comment that air strut replacements do "restore the car to its original factory smooth ride". Let me please ask you an old question of mine: In the case of a leakless pneumatic suspension, what would be the causes of its performance degradation? Have a nice day! Michel

    • @masood-tv
      @masood-tv  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Michel. I think what I said was that once you have replaced the bad strut, you have restored the ride to its original factory quality...please listen again. Thanks.

    Hello. I own a S430-2001 in Bangalore, India. The left side mirror light and door light stay on all the time, i think it is the left door SAM issue. Is there any way to bypass it as a new SAM is not readily available? Thanks.

    Do you have any experience regarding how the ride compares between Chinese struts and Arnott? The price difference is massive here in Canada. ~$700 each + tax for a single Arnott vs ~$480 + tax for TWO of the Chinease struts

    • @masood-tv
      @masood-tv  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Milk Man - no, I don't. But, there is a company in Europe you can try with much better quality shocks and good warranty: aerosus.com/.
      If you decide to go that route, please share your purchasing experience here so others may benefit.
