I still can't get over Simone with four cubs. That's a lot of bird seed to produce four healthy looking kids like that.

If he was kind he would put some food out in the nearby wooded area or alert a wildlife rescue. Those cubs are starving and Simone can’t provide enough milk for them. It’s six days later and it’s getting worse.
He doesn’t mind putting birdseed out and they’re eating it if there’s any left, or making videos of them.
I’m furious. I’ve watched her from the beginning and she never had cubs struggling to nurse as she walked, or nursing at all on these little trips. And, she never had four of the possible weather changes reducing berries, etc.
Sure, he can sound kind knowing he’s on the video, but he’s watching her suffer as she can’t feed her kids and tells her not to ‘pout’.
Be prepared for three cubs next week and then no Simone as she gets shot trying to enter a house.

@@patreddy1610 I will get back to you when I have more time (whoops, more upset than I realized) but I’ve been watching his videos pretty much from their inception and if he was feeling them offline it would make no sense for them to head straight for the bird feeder each time and then head home when it’s empty-most of the time.
I didn’t have a problem with that when they seemed to be all right, but I wrote what I did here after watching the latest one, after this one, in which the cubs are crying, especially one of them, and trying to nurse as Simone is walking, which never happened when she only had two cubs.
Our weather has been erratic, possibly influencing her normal wild sources and it’s not uncommon for a female bear not to produce enough milk for a larger litter. Those cubs are definitely underweight and one (see the latest video) sounds like something is really wrong.
While I realized, and thought it was a good policy not to interfere with their feeding, he doesn’t mind letting them on his porch for videos. If he put food in a neutral location, so that they didn’t become too dependent, he might not get his ‘views’.
Patrick, in the next video accused Simone of pouting when she looked like she was pleading for help. Her cubs were clearly in distress, which didn’t seem to either reach his consciousness or be of any concern to him.
I can’t see the harm of putting some food out in the woods, enough for the cubs to stay healthy and then keeping the bird feeder full so he could get his videos done.
I’m retired, with a restricted income but would be happy to contribute to that. What I don’t want to contribute to is the upcoming video ‘down to three cubs’, followed by ‘and then there were two’.
Unless these cubs-and their mom, who’s looking a bit ragged-start looking healthy, I have no evidence to conclude Patrick’s is actually kind or doing anything more than using them for YT fodder.
Up to the last two videos I had been recommending this channel to people who love bears 🐻. If Patrick mans up and shows the kind of-humanity is no longer the word I need-some real kindness, I’ll delete my posts and relax. (Maybe he is just a bit slow (?)
In the next video the family’s attempts to eat some patches of weeds with nowhere near the nutrients they need was another new behavior.
I hate hunting, too, and I really don’t want to find out Simone’s been short trying to get food for her cubs at the wrong place.
@@katecoe8322He knot allowed to put food out. Think about other bears would come scavenging and enter other peoples’ homes. These bears have monitors on them. Chill out. Please.

I bet Patrick didn’t anticipate having to name FOUR bear cubs! I love how Simone takes it as a given that her babies are safe with Patrick on the porch.
It’s also nice to see that Simone is obviously getting plenty of food, which means the cubs are getting plenty of food too.
There is something magic about the way you talk to the little family! They seem to understand and stop doing whatever you discourage them to do.. 😁 Simone is so trusty the way she does her bear things keeping a discret eye on her kids! They are so cute🐻😍 thank you for sharing all these precious moments with them...

Fun to see the cubs more agile and be able to climb up the railing around the porch with a fair amount of ease now. It's their little legs when they walk that really gest to me, too cute! 🩵
I was thinking the same thing. Watching them on the railing and maneuver it is like watching them in the park on the swings, monkey bars.Also watching them walk and run together is , awesome . It' melts my ❤️.
I know. They’ve improved quickly even from the first time we saw them. I’m sure Simone has coached them on he best way to get to the bird seed and eat it from the porch railing.
Wow! Whoever manufacturers Patrick's fence should make a commercial. Our fence is able to withstand the weight of a female bear AND a few cubs without collapsing! 😃

@@skuffel5405 I think that this is what makes this so beautiful. Here in Australia we get wild animals in our back yard- we appreciate them, but realise they are wild and should remain so. It would be so good if everyone appreciated the wild animals around them.

Cubs were so busy, not a one got a dropped seed. Momma was happy. Beautiful serene place to spend time at. Just enjoying the great outdoors watching the friendly passerbys. 16 little paws and four big just passing through. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 Lots of feets! ♥️🐻♥️🐻♥️🐻♥️🐻♥️🐻♥️😂

FYI ----- If the bear’s urine comes from the back, the bear is a female. If the urine stream is underneath the torso, it is a male bear. A tip for the next time someone spots a cub going to the bathroom.

I love the fact that -- despite knowing the stairs/gate are there, knowing how they work, and even stepping up onto the porch using the stairs and gate; despite all that! - two of the cubs insist on squeezing through the parapets instead.

Perfect title😂 Simone is the expert at getting the birdseeds without pulling the tray completely down, sometimes not at all. It’s a quick visit when seed isn’t all over your porch & on the ground. It’s so much fun seeing the cubs learning their is an easy way to just walk off the porch without the squeeze through the railings or the slide. I loved seeing the bold babe that tried to climb the post by mom. It’s hard to believe they’ll be to big to squeeze through soon. It was fun seeing them a few times today. Take care🐻🐾🐾❤️
