That lady won my heart when she first started singing . She has a very rare voice . Some of her songs make me cry they are so pretty an when she is singing gospel music you can feel the lord all in the house .we are blessed to have her sing for us .
I had it sang at my 47 yr old Husbands funeral. He died of Pancreatic cancer. Although it was very sad for us this song was perfect.Prayers for you and Dad
Alison has an effortless beauty in her vocalisation...reminiscent of great female voices in the past...o.k. ~ a subjective and personal choice...but think of Ella, and Karen Carpenter,Patsy Cline...Sara Vaughan...fabulous!
She is beautiful , however I wouldn't marry her. lol She has the voice of an angel, and this song gives me chills. I want it played at my funeral. She is so awesome. Thank you God for Alison Krauss
Lyrics: In this world I walk alone With no place to call my home, But there's one who holds my hand Through rugged roads, through barren lands. The way is dark, the road is steep, But He's become my eyes to see, The strength to climb, my griefs to bear. The Savior lives inside me there. Chorus: In Your love I find relief, A haven from my unbelief. Take my life and let me be A living prayer, my God, to Thee. In these trials of life I find Another voice inside my mind. He comforts me and bids me live Inside the love the Father gives. In Your love I find relief, A haven from my unbelief. Take my life and let me be A living prayer, my God, to Thee. Take my life and let me be A living prayer, my God, to Thee

I so wish more of the gospels too, from her, BUT I would love to hear her collaberate next with classically trained 'person' ?? maybe someone like Barbara Bonney... or maybe a wonderful male tenor... her talent ( BUT I LOVE HER BEST AS AKUS btw) holds no boundaries...she is a gift to all music worlds, wonderful woman.... thanks this is a lovely post...
There's no fear of the live version being inferior to the recorded version. Alison Krauss is a legend.
She's an angel on this earth - this is just like she did it as the final encore of the concert I got to see, and bless God I won't ever forget! 🙏❣️
Have you noticed that she rarely uses tremolo? She has to be dead on, and she is. What a rare talent!
God must be missing an Angel in Heaven because she's here singing to us!
I appreciate your boldness to sing a christian song in a secular TV program. God bless you Alison
