For people who said "Ryanair landing".... please, stop and think. This was done purposefully and is a perfectly executed landing. Perfectly on the touchdown marks, no time wasted floating. It really doesn't seem that firm either, listening to the sounds and watching the camera shakes. You can also tell that they basically did a U-turn to get to the gate- which means they wanted to exit the first exit they can, and in order to do so, they needed to do a rather firm & short-field landing just like it was shown in the video. As they shut down engine 2 before even reaching the gate, they likely wanted to save as much fuel as possible. Makes sense to me, at least. Again please stop bashing with 'Ryanair landing' they do that for a reason and there's no reason bashing the airline for that. :p Perfect landing, by the way! Props to captain.
@@CockpitScenes Well, I don't know if I can really rely on altitude calls, yes it was fast, but it could've been smoothed out the moment it touched down looking at the rather fast flare the captain in the video did. It's not smooth, yes, but I wouldn't also say it was as firm as the "Ryanair landing" that people refer to. The ones very popular in TH-cam with screaming passengers. I mentioned touchdown marks because I also mentioned they wanted the first exit possible and therefore wanted the early touchdown. I also think it's in a way pretty satisfying, getting the wheels just where that big marks are, but might be just me. I'm not a real pilot, so it's all my opinions. And yeah, after all, safety first! Perfect landing.. Not sure what the gripe is with RYR. Maybe cause they have 500+ planes and people only talk about them. B737's lands like that. 70tonne machine. Its not a Cessna and its not a computer like scarebus. Maybe for all the FSX guys landing smooth on their pc, read Boeing Manual on Landing procedures! Happy Flying

the heavy metal is basically flown onto the runway, us GA guys land much softer.
