I think Flanno was generous in his appraisal of Sloans effort in trying to stop that first half try by Penrith. He still is a little gun shy for first grade in some areas of his game. But what comeback by Saints in the second half. It was remarkable.
He was but I think Sloan and all the boys lack a certain confidence. Flanno probably gave honest and harsh feedback in the locker room but I'm sure as a player you want to feel your coach believes in you and has your back.

Congrats to the dragons on the win, just real scrappy especially with a Panthers team with key players out injured, players out for Origin and lot of young players.
The dragons had 3 out for origin and 3 injured so they weren't in any better a position than Penrith were,the better team won I'm suck of Panthers origin excuses
