I thought Maddison played well during that game! The players who should’ve been sorry with missed passes were not Son and Maddison but everyone else
He is saying that extra pass which is not needed. Just finish the chances not look for others.
Son was dreadful and Madison was only good in the first half
Sons passing decisions were too conservative. Udogie was making runs into clear space that he didn't pick up on.

The energy Vardy put into his goal celebration represents a winning mentality. When things are going well , all comfortable we play nice football but when things aren't going well nobody shows this winning mentality to get a grip back in the game. Spurs need players with character and that includes a winning mentality.

Well the most worrying thing is the way our players suddenly started panicking when Leicester equalized!... It made me think about the end of last season (heavy defeats and Spurs panicking in their defending). Good point: the players are too comfortable no pressure on the board the fans are comfortable the staff and the players are waiting for their pay check and so on.
Spurs went in underestimating Leicester. It was clear as day. You could sense their panic when Leicester scored and shift to an aggressive attack.
Ange impressed with her way of playing in the first few matches, and she was lucky! But this is the PREMIER LEAGUE!!! The coaches work! They study their rivals and once the teams realized that their whole game consisted of attacking from the sides, and that by pressing them at the start they lost the ball foolishly, Ange did not show the ability to make a plan "B" she lacks the imagination to try something else, a response
Tottenham got to the CL final in 2019 and instead of capitalizing and strengthening, they dropped the ball. They thought what they had was good enough to get them there back to back. Always strengthen from a position of strength!!
I watched the whole match, I would recommend the pundit to watch it before commenting....first game of season away, and a draw. Play them at home later in the year and a different result

The manager's approach is not for me. Sure, 75% possession, but never have players who run around so much play such slow, sideways, ponderous football. For all the possession around the box, it takes them so long to create a chance that there's five defenders between the ball and the goal, hence low xG. I just don't see it working unless he plays more direct.
A few players went missing in that second half , Son , Maddison and whilst he tried Solanke did not have a good debut and being honest it was close to terrible.

Didn’t spurs draw there 1st game last season with Brentford same press reaction …these commentators are irrelevant, we went on a run, go and watch the post match interview Ange said the same thing 1st half great, dropped off 2nd half.
Everybody knows Spurs aint playing for anything this season .The owners have no ambition as has been proved for over a decade
Tottenham's xG was only 1.84. Suggesting they should have been up 4 or 5 goals at half time isn't really how it works. You can't score from every good chance you create no matter how good you are. Dominance in possession is different to creating a string of gilt-edged goal scoring opportunities - which Tottenham didn't do. My biggest issue is that they don't really have that many good players in forward positions. God knows what has happened to Son, Solanke IMO is no way good enough for a top side or side aspiring for top 4 and Johnson offers zero in attack and looks a complete waste of money. You look at who Spurs have on the bench and you've got a journey man in Werner who can't be relied upon and Richarlison who isn't a reliable goal scorer and was considered out the door. Don't get me started on how overrated Maddison is and that isn't based on this one game, he was terrible for the entire 2nd half of last season. At the end of the day this Spurs team is just a very average team. Postecoglou has signed some young talents, but they are babies who are learning their craft and can't be relied upon. The recruiting at Spurs is sabotaging any success that Postecoglou will have, but if he has wanted players like Werner, like Johnson, like Solanke then if he is sacked then he can have no complaints. You sign mediocre players, you should expect mediocre results and outcomes.
