Please do a video on 7 failed giants in football. Etc Tranmere rovers (good players , but poor management and little luck caused them to plummet ) . Feyenoord , schalke , etc etc Please include these in a video,it would be great. And if you do , use the teams above
Even though KDB has had a great season in terms of what he's done for city, his city career has been plagued with injuries, and although he's a magnificent player, he wasn't really solving any problems at city. I'd say van Dijk as no. 1 because he solved a defensive problem that Liverpool have had for many years, and he came controversially 2nd in the ballon d'or rankings.
"Mendy will be the closest fullback to TAA in terms of assists" Robertson is literally on 12 assists, 1 less than TAA, and there's no chance Mendy would ever get more than 7 or 8 assists
Mendy is a massive flop and won't make 8 assist in a season. Btw HITC, having 5 assist in 10 games is nothing to get when playing with a front 3 as city's so he has a point.
Bro... Why do you think city bought him.... It's not just because city had money... He WAS their creative marauding full back on the left when Monaco won the league in 16-17... You can say they had an excellent team because they had mbappe, Falcao, Bernardo, fabinho, etc... But at that time, all of them were just prospects who stunned everyone... So Mendy is undoubtedly 'IF FIT' (sadly which he never is) the best attacking full back in the premier league after TAA...
De Bruyne is fantastic BUT who were listed top 5 in Ballon Dor 2019?...didnt Virgil win something? same as Allison?...De Bruyne won errrr Ballon Dor? no?
In my opinion, saying Arsenal could have been a bottom half of the table club without Aubameyang is wrong. Clearly not all of his goals would have been replaced, but lacazette and martinelli have proven their capabilities (Lacazette was our pots last year). We wouldn't have sold Giroud, who would be decent, if not very good, off the bench. This would also have proven Arsenal's weaknesses earlier, Emery would've been sacked earlier, and our own 'project restart' would be further along the line under Arteta.
Salty Liverpool fans Bellow this comment Sweet life you’re living bro... It’s everything to you to try and drag salt out of the happiest fans on earth right now 😆

agreed with list aside from tanguy ndombele; I understand it takes time to adapt in first season, but he hasn't showed much when he has played and has not got into a below average spurs midfield
Liverpool would easily be Coutinho. He was their best player for a couple of years, scored some important goals and then sold for an unbelievable fee which helped them pay for Virgil and Allison.
I usually love your videos and I completely understand that a lot of this is presumptive for the future but I don’t think Keita should be below Pepe or Ndombele who really didn’t prove much this season (ndombele was heavily criticised for his work rate and is completely out of favour and Pepe for the money shows very little end product) in my opinion
We all know who would rank number 1 in a best £50 million+ sales video. Ronaldo ended up scoring 515 club goals since leaving United and winning 4 more Ballon d’ors.and that only scratches the surface of what he won since then.
I think it's harsh on Keita to say he has less "talent" than Ndombele. His numbers when he played for Leipzig were amazing, and quite similar to Ndombele's if I recall. Plus, he performed well for 2 seasons in the Bundesliga, which is arguably a stronger league than Ligue 1 where Ndombele only played well for one season. In terms of Premier League contribution, I would say they have both been at a similar level, with Keita perhaps even being better than Ndombele
Maguire at 13 is insane, Man Utd have conceded 24 fewer goals this season (30 from 54) and gone from having 11th best defensive record in PL to 3rd, despite de gea probably having his worst season. The fact that Maguire is now captain and has played every minute of every PL game is a huge factor of that. Understand the 80m price tag is a lot but the standard "english player tax" has to come into account somewhere and genuinely think he's been decent value. Can't say he's bad compared to VVD; Van Dijk is just insanely good, doesn't mean Maguire is bad at all
Ik Maguire costs too much but putting him below players like Ndombele, Pepe and Rodri is quite too harsh. United's defensive solidity has improved very much this season compared to last season. Whereas Pepe and Ndombele have missed more matches with lesser contribution than what Maguire has. Also, even Rodri's performance hasn't been fair enough than what was expected from him.

Laca £47m+£6m
Walker £45m+£5m

Please include these in a video,it would be great.
You are a Liverpool fan aren’t you?
@@angeloskatso5445 and
Vivek Tewari because van dijk has not been a better signing that de Bruyne.
Really hope Pulisic recovers quickly, he’s been fantastic and that’s coming from an Arsenal fan.
He will be back in 5 weeks around when the prem begins
7 pl poty nominations where were they 5 years ago?
"Mendy will be the closest fullback to TAA in terms of assists"
Robertson is literally on 12 assists, 1 less than TAA, and there's no chance Mendy would ever get more than 7 or 8 assists
Mendy had 5 assists from 10 appearances in the Premier League in 2018-19, the idea that he couldn't get more than 7 or 8 across 38 games is absurd.
HITC Sevens it’s not hard when u play for city
Irrelevant to the point in question.
De Bruyne is fantastic BUT who were listed top 5 in Ballon Dor 2019?...didnt Virgil win something? same as Allison?...De Bruyne won errrr Ballon Dor? no?
Because that year he was injured for a long time. First get your facts together than you can talk. Thankyou
We need players who have scored more goals than you think!
Your rating ndombele over Maguire love to see the united haters don’t cha
In my opinion, saying Arsenal could have been a bottom half of the table club without Aubameyang is wrong. Clearly not all of his goals would have been replaced, but lacazette and martinelli have proven their capabilities (Lacazette was our pots last year). We wouldn't have sold Giroud, who would be decent, if not very good, off the bench. This would also have proven Arsenal's weaknesses earlier, Emery would've been sacked earlier, and our own 'project restart' would be further along the line under Arteta.
Mendy would have been the closest to TAA 😂 That was a good one 😂😂😂
Already better... TAA worst fullback in the league.... Most overrated player of all time..

Rodri has been completely forgotten this season, he has been vital for city you can see just by looking at his stats.
Day 1: Best African XI Under 25 Right Now
Ndombele over Maguire,Lukaku,Keita and Pepe I feel is just very,VERY wrong.Keita I guess doesn't play much which is why he's that low,but Maguire and Pepe in their first year at their clubs respectively have done quite well and they're not exactly old and aren't going to rapidly deteriorate so I don't get why they're lower

I think naby keita still has a lot more to show. Hes had moments of briliance along the way and his form seemed to go up at the end of this season. Very excited to see him next year and hoping he gets a lot more time
The Disrespect to Anthony Martial is real , he's probably one of the best strikers at the moment in the premier league!
Not sure how I've managed to disrespect Martial without even mentioning him!
HITC Sevens hahahahhaha, United fans are set 8
@@HITCSevens that's how you've disrespected him by not putting him up & putting in players like nbombele & pepe whereas martial already has 50+ goals in the premier league! So better get your head right.
Because he didn't cost more than £50 million up front. Same reason I didn't include Ronaldo, Shearer, or Henry.
When the years over u should do your own player of the year list since the actual balondor was cancelled. And also player of the season list aswell.
I don't normally do this but like so Alfie can see 👍
Honestly Mendy could’ve featured from 13-10th, this season he was great, I think that alone grants him a higher finish
Agreed and Lukaku should really be higher
nah hes been shit this year hes just been alright since the restart, and even then he handed liverpool the title
As a city fan his crossing has been dog shite he's lost his pace and he can have the biggest ego off the pitch but always manages to get himself in dangerous situations on it. He was meant to be the new Evra not a fucking donkey
A video on you're opinion regarding who was the best player in the world at the end of every decade e.g. Billy Meredith for 1910, Jose Andrade for 1930 etc. Since the end of the 1870s or 1880s.
Even though Mendy hasnt played often I could never put Morata above him
Morata is about as bad of a center forward as I’ve seen on a top club- he was absolutely atrocious
I think Mendy's performance against Wolves tops anything Morata did.
12:14 he literally forgot about Clint Dempsey... He was top class...
Dempsey was good, but he was never world class. Pulisic could be.
@@HITCSevens I don't know... It is your opinion, but Dempsey was world class for me. I can agree Pulisic can be an incredible player, and definitely better than Dempsey. But I still think Dempsey was world class.
I guess everyone has a different definition of world class, but fair enough!
@@HITCSevens I think Tim Howard was world class at his prime. If I remember correctly he made it into the 2003 team of the year before cech
Martaillllll and how can pepe come over maguire
i thought about martial too but i found that it was 50mil with add ons not upfront
Nice one. A good one would be 7 countries most likely to win FIFA world cup in future that haven't won already. Reasons such as rich history, growing popularity, large population, etc

Day 56-Best ever shirt no.for each premier league club
Every real madrid goalkeeper since Casillas🔥
Ndombele over Pepe!!!???
Yeah spurs bias. Pepe has been incredible since restart and good ever since arteta came in. He's showed that he is a big game player
Even though kepa has had a bad season he was amazing last season so it's a bit harsh to put last. Like maybe 15th
I've never known him to be amazing to be honest.
agreed with list aside from tanguy ndombele; I understand it takes time to adapt in first season, but he hasn't showed much when he has played and has not got into a below average spurs midfield
So much disrespect for Maguire is unbelievable
Great vid, however Jorginho cost £57 million when he signed for Chelsea. Seems to have been forgotten.
Mahrez should be above Pogba. For the fee paid, Pogba should have been 'the Bruno' for ManU. So, in that sense, Mahrez more impactful than Pogba 🙄
No

Naby will 100% get better next season, he has already shown sparks of brilliance in the closing weeks of the season
Love your work, Alfie
Keep up the good content Alfie!
Question: Players that proved to be the best value to their club. Either through performances or sell on fee.
My God why did you have to make Morata sound like the Eric Trump 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We all know who would rank number 1 in a best £50 million+ sales video. Ronaldo ended up scoring 515 club goals since leaving United and winning 4 more Ballon d’ors.and that only scratches the surface of what he won since then.
KDB was a bargain buy if you consider how good he is now. I mean we could see the potential in Germany but wow he's something else
You should do ranking your clubs most expensive players since the last decade
Can't say he's bad compared to VVD; Van Dijk is just insanely good, doesn't mean Maguire is bad at all
Your opinion is the same now?
Ik Maguire costs too much but putting him below players like Ndombele, Pepe and Rodri is quite too harsh. United's defensive solidity has improved very much this season compared to last season. Whereas Pepe and Ndombele have missed more matches with lesser contribution than what Maguire has. Also, even Rodri's performance hasn't been fair enough than what was expected from him.
Maguire been one of the best centre backs this year, i dont know what you smoking but you should share, cuz putting ndombele below maguire is some serious shit
Maguire has been no where near one of the best cbs in the world
