All sass aside, don't feel bad if this one takes you a few tries new players! At any given time there is only 1 or 2 things going on, nothing too overwhelming, but if someone messes up certain things (like not being in a green circle) its a wipe and you just try again.
One important thing you missed. Don't try going near his throne before he is dead dead. Works like the bug zapper but for normal folk. You just die. Otherwise it is worth nothing that a lot of groups on EU at least will offload greens to the bannerslave (g1), the kiter (g2) and a random non-boons third or even tank for g3. If the tank is not doing greens, they will backup the first g2 for the kiter and if they are, then a random will do that instead.
Yay! I got my first ever Dhuum kill thanks to a very patient group that allowed us to learn and the emboldened mode. And ofc your guides helped the new players grasp the mechanics.
Fun fact, the reson the reaper by the door takes more damage is because Dhuum has a personal vendetta against the guy. The reaper is the reaper of the Chaos Plains, which were created after Grenth destroyed Dhuum's tower when Grenth defeated Dhuum and became the new God of death.
@@MuklukTH-cam If the spiders spawn in the center of the room like i think they do they'd spawn equadistant from all the Reapers. Pretty sure Dhuum is just salty they broke his chair and hates that one guy in particular.
@@lyokhamishukov3513 I thought it was a throwback to the Reaper of the Chaos Plains being the most difficult one to defend in GW1 UW where you had to defend him against 4 bosses at once, 2 coming from one direction and the other 2 from the exact opposite direction so you were forced to split the party.
Great guide Muk! You managed to explain everything about Dhuum in a short video in an easily understood manner. To everyone who is new to this fight, it just takes time to learn everything, don't feel bad if you fail a few times; Dhuum doesn't throw much at you, but what he does is unforgiving, since if you fail some mechanics, it can lead to to a wipe or is a wipe. Here is a tip for the green goers: As you are going up, you are immediately able to start moving. The enforcer orbs always spawn one seal clockwise from where you go up. Once you get this orb (If you don't tell your raid group so the tank can adjust accordingly plz), turn around and start collecting orbs behind you. I do this method and never fail greens. Good luck to everyone who is going for their first Dhuum kill or just want to learn more to get more clears!
The guild I'm in does Raid trainings occasionally, on Sunday we had a choice between W3 and W5, it kind of ended up being both. Been watching these guides before a Raid when I'm new to it. These guides are extremely helpful, short, no need to search around the video for certain segments.
MMMMH, DADDY DHUUM I'm an experienced raider that goes with experienced groups, Dhuum still takes around at least half an hour of tries before my group gets it, so don't feel bad if you keep failing! (It took me weeks to get my first kill) good luck gamers!
Reading a guide.... sounds painful and overwhelming. Watching one of your Get to the Point guides.... makes you just want to get in there and do it. Great stuff.
I've always found Dhuum to be a fairly easy boss though it is reliant on 3 players knowing what they are doing (the Tank who is usually doing a green, healer/kite who does a green, and a dps who does a green) Past that you just hope the DPS will do enough damage. Ready to see the guide on Q1, probably the only other boss I see people rage on other than Dhuum.
Thanks for the great guide again. I've only tried (and failed) Dhuum a few times so far. IMHO the problem is that there's quite a few mechanics and timers to remember and it's very easy for a single important person (orbs...) to fail everything and make you start again. It's of course doable.
There is SOMETIMES call to pop the bomb early using the special action key, mostly so someone without sustain doesn't get caught isolated from the group when the soul split dip happens. The bombs will disappear if you go up to do greens or if the soul split happens, but Dhuum puts a lot of Torment on you during the split, so it's best to be grouped up so that you can just mass condi cleanse. Still, definitely communicate with your healer! Hopefully your shotcaller can tell you if they need you to blow early. This is very much a fight where everyone needs to be on their A game, since failing pretty much any mechanic is a wipe and 7 seals required for the 10% phase means there's very little room for error or downs. It's a lot to keep track of all at once, but once you get it down, it's actually a pretty fun fight! Dhuum CM on the other hand...never again.
@@MuklukTH-cam all good muk! I truly believe you read all your comments. That also make me believe you really care about your community. You are truly inspirational. Keep at it my friend. Great video. I wasn't making fun at all. :]
So tonight I tried this for the first time (as a dps). EVERY time during the 'wall phase' I would get downed. Any tips there? A few times I wasn't at full health prior to the phase, but I had no heals available - and so I just sat there helplessly knowing I was about to down/die. I made sure to stare at Dhuum in center of arena and also stand by wall - but I'd still would down/die.
So to answer my own comment, in order to more easily stay alive at these phases, if possible have your heal skill available and also bring a condi-cleanse to remove the 5 seconds of torment (although in exp groups, the healers take care of this if you're close enough).

@@Mbr095 why would there be an easy mode? Theyre raids theyre not open world its expected that its gonna be harder. We might aswell make the olympic games easier so more ppl can win the gold medal and not just a few.

For Olympic Games: there is an entry level from city to state to country that kind of leads you to a participation in there, so kind of an easy mode to get into it huh? Imagine the tons of lobby’s you could jump into and we might wouldn’t have a dead game and wait for years for a new raid wing
