    Thanks for the tips! Very helpful! The baby wipes do leave a film behind so I would use alcohol wipes instead for any electronics

    Hi , I’ve managed to get very small bits of vinyl under the rollers in the housing. Any ideas how I can clean them off. TIA

    Hi Debbie, Your video was very informative and easy to follow.
    I watched another video before yours and they said to use Canned Air to clean our Cricut Explore Air 2 machines, but I'm a little scared to use that as knowing my luck, I'd blow everything back into the machine! 😱🤣 but I do use Baby wipes for so many things in my crafts, and like you, have them near my machine.

    THANK YOU! it seems so simple, but my Cricut didn't cut on the left side top corner. I cleaned it and found a tiny scrap on the left roller that's inside. I took it out with some tweezers and it cuts on that corner now!

    Thanks for you Cricut Explore videos. One question : why do you want to avoid alcohol when cleaning it? I know printers are sometimes cleaned with alcohol so just looking for some guidance.

    • @DebbieONealSMQD
      @DebbieONealSMQD  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont know why your message just showed up for me to answer. But I wanted to answer now. Cricut had not recommended using alcohol at the time I made the video. They have not said it is fine to use alcohol to clean it

    • @calandranicole
      @calandranicole 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alcohol will dry out and eventually start to crack anything rubber..including rubber rollers. Use something more oil based instead of solvent based to clean ONLY the rubber bits. 🙃

    I have a question. My blade will not go down to cut if the housing is on. If I take the housing off it works perfect. Is there a way I can fix this? Oil? Replacement part? I hate having to keep it apart. Thanks.

    I have heard many times not to touch those chrome bars with any type of cleaner……is this correct?

    • @DebbieONealSMQD
      @DebbieONealSMQD  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes it’s true. Don’t touch the chrome bar. It has machine oil on it that helps the cutting head move across it.

    I am trying to cut something, when I put the mat into the machine... it acts like its cutting. No matter what setting I have it on, and no matter what kind of paper I have in it.. it isn't cutting. what do you think is wrong with it?

      In Design Space, make sure your objects are "cutting" and not "drawing" or some other type.

    Hi there , I see you posted this video a few years ago but could you please help with the green rollers . I have the cricut maker and the same rubber rollers are on there except mine are just the grey ones . One has become loose moves out of place when the machine is cutting resulting in my vinyl getting messed up and pushing the matt side ways ,I've tried contacting cricut but I can't seem to get through . Any possible solution's please!

      You might need to apply a special machine grade oil. Contact Cricut Support and tell them. They can send you a packet of the oil and instructions to apply. You can not use just any oil.

    • @DebbieONealSMQD
      @DebbieONealSMQD  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Take a soft cloth and gently swipe under the little box that has the sensor in it. You will know where because it’s where the light shines when it’s in scanning mode.

      Robert - so do you mean during the cleaning process ? Are the rollers spinning after you hit the load button ? If so, make sure you have the mat placed right up against the rollers
