Go to Edit Menu -> Preferences --> Addons --> type in the search box "Mesh" then choose Mesh:Extra Objects. Make sure you tick the box. Then you are done. Now you can add single vertex and make sure you are in the Edit Mode, and on Vertex selection (01).
@@Cameron-c4x for 4.2 you have to enable internet access in the preference. Then under add on, choose the add on mesh extra object, now install it. Done.

In 2024, you are little bit late to learn modeling, it will take prolly a year to learn to model usable car, while there is everything available for download, leaving you with more than enough time to come up with good animation, make a good portfolio, approach and get clients @@Lobozaur

I always using hight resolution blueprint make car modeling but i obly make car in simpleplanes if you understand about this
