      I am originally from Bardoli and we too call it Khausaa 😊
      I have tried khausaa from Surat/ Raander and it’s absolutely delicious 😋
      My mom has been making this dish ever since I was a baby!!

      Me too from Surat. But khavsaa ( as we call it) is mainly from Rander in Surat, found mostly in Muslim populated areas but it's mainly made of chicken or mutton. Never tasted veg khavsuey.

    I have tried this recipe today. And it came out just awesome. My son usually don't like veggies, but he ate full. I tried the left over soup with fried noodles and onions, it's a complete dish. Just awesome recipe.

      Yes but the one you get as street food is completely different. You should try it in restaurants.. I would recommend Global Local, Vesu.. It’s mostly like the recipe shared here.

    I avoid jeera powder in khow suey i also add besan with onion paste and fry it along with it which helps to cut the raw smell of besan. I prefer to add stir fry vegetables. Adding gur is a nice tip ll try next time. 👌

    The recipe came very good
    Just 2 changes
    1. Blanch all veggies before cooking as veggies remain raw in this process..
    2. Too much heat after coconut milk slightly curdles it
    The dish was something new and much better than regular Chinese.. THANKS

    We keralites use coconut milk in our daily life for almost all of the veg and non veg dishes. We use it cooking, sometimes we make coconut oil
    So you will get extra virgin natural oil at home ☺️😊. Anyways, I will try your recipe and give you a feedback. Thank you

    That was very nice, easy and quick 😊
    But the actual khao suey takes good couple of hours and the curry has to be more thick. My mum's from Burma so we've been having this our entire life. Best time to have it is in a rainy season or in winters 😇

    Today i made this..followed all ur procedure...(as m very good to followed the recipe step by step)m adding Coconut milk..after 2-3 boil..then i add salt (i forget it ,so later i add salt )and coconut milk split...
