When propagating in water, how often do you change the water to keep it clear and clean?

I think best and optimal condition is to change water every two or three days but Coleus are so resilent and they can survive and grow nice roots even if you don't change the water. Just keep in mind to start with the clean glass or jar for the process.

What happens if you put a few grains of Miracle grow or fertiliser into the water when doing water propagation?

Never I tried on Coleus cuts but I will do it and in few weeks and I will let you about results with small video. I will start with same size cuts from same plant with or without fertilizer in the same condition (light and temperature). I think in this way we can make better conclusion.
