    Thanks for this video. You answered my assumption. I recently scored a few branch cuttings from one of my neighbors and am going to start some plants from them.
    I’m starting my 2nd year of growing plants 🌱
    I look forward to checking out the bougainvillea video next - last year I acquired a tree that one of my neighbors was throwing away because it was in bad shape. I saved it and this year it flowered.
    btw the birds chipping are lovely 😊

    Great and to the point video. Love that you noted the days and showed the results. The birds chirping is perfect with the video. One question, does washing the roots before re-potting causes shock to the plant?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad to here that and thank you so much for your feedback, much appreciated! Nothing to worry much about washing the roots. Of course they would get a shock but nothing happens if we repot them immediately. I did it immediately after I was done with recording and as of now, both cuttings are doing fine!

    Thank you for your informative video. I planted my plumeria cutting on 2/6/2023 n today 28/7/2023 it sprouted flower buds on 2 of the branches but NO LEAVES has sprouted!! Is this normal?
    So do I repot it? If yes what type of soil n to put under direct sunlight eventhough no leaves?
    Appreciate your kind advice n thank you

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You are most welcome and thank you very much for your feedback! Yeah, it's normal and it's happening as it's the flowering season. It would produce leaves once flowers are spent.
      Sure, please go ahead and repot it and if possible, please don't disturb the roots at this time. If you do, you may miss the flower! For soil I do it this way - Normal Garden soil - 40%, Sand - 30% and Vermicomost - 30%. You can also add 25-30 grams Neem cake powder at the time of repotting [1 teaspoon = 5 grams]
      It would be better to keep under bright indirect sunlight. Once it starts producing leaves, you can keep under direct sunlight. Wish you all the best!

      Depending on environment, cuttings take time. Aapko thoda aur wait karna hoga....ak kaam kar sakte hai -Next time jab pani dena hai, NPK19:19:19 ke 1/4 teaspoon 1 liter pani me mix karke soil me apply kijiye. Thoda nutrients mil jayega aur jaldi grow hoga. Lakin ye kaam cutting lagane ke baad turant kabhi bhi nehi karna chaiye. Aaapka already 2 months ho gaya hai..to, roots jarur grow hua hoga. Good luck :-)

    1. HOW do you transplant.
    2. in what soul and

      You are right..but normally, I make different videos for that purpose. And in my next video, I would provide complete updates from planting to flowering..even if it's going to take more than 1 year. Because of that reason, it's difficult to cover everything in a single video..or else, it would be a video of more than 20 minutes. But as you have asked me, of course I am going to reply you -
      >> 1. HOW do you transplant
      Hard to answer as you asked how and thank you for asking this. I actually never thought about this as I always show the roots in video (have shown transplanting things in many of my videos but not in depth). I would do a special video for this. But few points - 1. We need to select a well sized pot depending on the plant we want to grow. 2. Need to prepare the potting soil mix. 3. IMP - We need to keep the soil level like how it was before. 4. After transplanting need to water thoroughly 5. If the plant needs direct sunlight to grow well, we can keep under indirect sunlight for next 2-3 days. After that, we can keep under full sun or partial sun depending on the plant.
      >>2. in what soul and
      50% normal Garden soil + 25% either Cocopeat or Peat Moss + 25% Vermicompost (Alt - Home made Compost or Chicken manure, just natural stuffs)
      >> 3. what plant food??
      I am from India and I know that, my fertilizers are not going to be same with you. So, sorry for being unable to recommend you the perfect brand. Overall, if we fertilize them once in 25-30 days, it's more than enough. Please note, for more flower, the soil should be around at pH level of 5.5 to 6.0. For that, we can use any acidic fertilizers to get more flowers. Here in my place, I use Aluminium Sulphate and also use FeGro Iron(Fe)-12% EDTA Chelated once in a month.
      I hope, I have answered your questions. But if you still have any, please let me know and I would try my best to get back to you ASAP, thank you!
