9:34 "you are caught up on the baby tire" made me laugh :D Also I would shut in my pants so many times when I see you guys crawling. I could never do that so extreme
@@outlandishoverland btw, I still haven't gotten my Colorado ZR2 yet. My car dealer is waiting since I believe 2.5 months for an allocation. And I can't find the exact Truck that I want. I will be at a Ford dealer next weekend to check out that Ford Ranger Raptor. If they have no markup and I do like the Truck I will get the Raptor instead
You keep doing these trails you should start calling it Rocklanding instead of Overlanding. I was looking into some of these quick deflating valves and I don’t know if it was the one that you had but it requires drilling and threading a new hole into the rim. That thing looked huge on the website and I remember thinking that could catch on something easily and get ripped off. I stopped considering it that point.
With vehicles like this where you can’t get high offset wheels you’ll want to choose wheels that protect your valves stem. Although sometimes inconvenient much rather it be a bit hard to reach but not able to be ripped off on a rock.
Damn! Sorry to see that, but glad there were cool people there to help, you guys are ok, and the truck isn't damaged! I hope one day they get the airless tires figured out...
he didn't listen to her about stacking the rocks anyway. he just ignored her and gunned it over the ledge. she shouldn't even bother trying to help him, he never listens to her anyway.
I listen to her plenty of times just most times they are cut from the video for time sake or just not recorded 🤷. Sometimes in the heat of the moment I make my own decisions some for the best some for the worst. It's a learning environment and we work on improving communication all the time.
First flat was a valve stem that broke, and can literally happen on any vehicle. Second tire (the spare) is a crap tire unfortunately as I'm waiting for a swingout rear bumper to carry a full size spare. Didn't realize Rock stacking is illegal 🙄
Stacking rocks has always been a part of offroading, sorry to inform you. They are Falkens* and they are a great tire especially in the snow where we leave. You probably shouldn't be in the offroading community with that terrible additude

Yeah sometimes in these scenarios it can be a bit stressful 😅

Well done on making it up Mineral Basin! Ignore the Jeep snobs.
Thanks appreciate it!
@@outlandishoverland I have a 2018 ZR2. Really like it!
Great video. One of my favorite trails. That was the first trail I took my ZR2 on. 👍🏽
Nice, it's a fun trail. I just had unfortunate circumstances 😅

Yup, good thing! I find the Staun work well, require no permanent mods, and when done, leave the valve stem as it was: short and flexible.
I should at this point time for a rebrand 😂. These do not require any drilling.

@@zmcarroll I think with normal valve stems it wouldn't have been a problem.
Did this trail a few weeks back and a friend ripped off two normal stems on rocks. She had rubicon factory wheels.
It just boils down to one thing.....some days are like that! Ya just have to press on! Good job!
Yeah part of offroading 🤟

I have no idea who those people are 😂
No matter the fails. Still a good video. Sometimes them the breaks😊
Thank you!
You need better tires... Yokohama geolandar mt g003 mt's have never let me down off-roading. Especially over sharp rocks.
I mean the Falkens didn't fail either it was the valve stem. I do need to get rid of that crappy spare tire the Territory MTs
Welcome to the rock garden.

Says it all in the title “left ME stranded” not us stranded….

Your girl will stack rocks for you....brother you won the wife lottery....
I know she is the best!
These are the types of trail Rubicon Wranglers and Gladiators were made for
And yet a basically stock ZR2 can make it 😬

@@Jeepingshortflat tires have nothing to do with the zr2 platform specifically and could happen to a Jeep.
If you need to stack rocks you don’t belong on that trail.
Throw away the garbage falcons and get a real tire 😊

Definitely could’ve made it up without stacking rocks. As far as saying falkens are garbage, I guess the only rubber Jeep guys know are ducks😂
