In Greece there are many cases of mistreatment, abuse and neglect. Takis shelter believes in all these dogs and gives them a second chance. Takis rescues and takes in animals that others would put down. And they prove him right!! Here are the 10 most amazing transformations that animals performed in 2020 in Takis Shelter. It's been a difficult year for everyone because of the coronavirus pandemic and it has been difficult for animals too.

I love this man, what he does and the example he is to the world.
I have been following Takis' videos and they are the most rewarding and inspiring time of my day. To see what he does for these animals and to prepare them, body/mind and soul for forever homes, yet asks nothing for himself.

It's amazing the difference you make in these animals lives. They are unfed, unwanted, and in such terrible shape. In a day or two they are so much better, they are clean, they are happy, and they are well fed. You are so wonderful to them all. God bless you!!!!!!!!

I’ve said it before they broke the mould when they made this man, he is compassion, love, understanding, kindness, never ever patience, unbelievable work ethic all rolled into one. How there are people like him, or myself who loves animals and will never turn by back to an hungry, stray cat I see, never hurt or abuse them to monsters we see today. We are all born the same, wtf happens to peoples brains to do the sick, evil things they do.x

it's so hard to watch without crying and getting so angry at the same time. I wish I could put the owners in the ring and give them such a beat down.
I'll give you one interesting thought to ponder: what if these people never got cared for in the same way? What if these people are just as angry because other people made them that way? If you think people are far out of the jungle, you are very much mistaken. I'm not making excuses for them. Just thoughts to think about

Ringo almost made me cry... I grew up with severe psychological abuse too, and when I looked into his eyes I saw the same fear my eyes had in old pictures and videos where I'm with my dad. I wish he lived in Michigan so I could adopt him and show him that it is possible to trust people again and move on from your trauma 😞 dang it Taki, now I'm gonna have to donate yet again to your shelter so that even if I can't adopt Ringo, I can at lease support him (just kidding, I'm more than happy to donate lol)
