    • @imalimabeanyay
      @imalimabeanyay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Maybe i use my dishwasher wrong. I use it to sanitize hand washed dishes. I cant imagine sticking a dirty toilet brush in there, though i do sanitize my cup brush from time to time.

      @@imalimabeanyay you are. It's a dishwasher not an autoclave.

    • @imalimabeanyay
      @imalimabeanyay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jameshaws9986 i really hope thats a joke, because i was joking. Joking about a machine whose only similarity to a dishwasher is shape makes no sense. Especially when my joke was about sticking a cup brush in the dishwasher which is exactly the same as a toilet brush, though my logic involves steam based sterilization of the cup brush to destroy any soap resistant bacteria like the ones that grow in your sponge. I cant justify sticking feces into it.
      Sanitization is the main function of a dishwasher. Im using it the same way dishwashers are used in an industrial setting… or in otherwords, the correct way. Even a three part sink separates washing and sanitization. At least when i was growing up dishwashers for home use never could handle anything large or more than a few grams of food before clogging and potentially becoming a stinky box in need of a plumber. Your installed dishwasher has a filter/screen you are supposed to clean regularly. Ive never really had much on mine.
      If you arent at the very least scraping remnants off your plate and rinsing it under water for a second or two, then you’re definitely doing it wrong.

    • @storey662
      @storey662 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@imalimabeanyay I definitely don’t think sticking a toilet brush in the dishwasher is a good idea at any point in time. Like ever. lol.
      Buuut… I recently learned myself that pre-rinsing your dishes before putting them into the dishwasher is actually a huge waste of water and according to dishwasher manufacturers, you shouldn’t actually need to do that at all! As long as you use the “pre wash” option and the included “pre-wash” detergent area” on most dishwashers, even dishes with dried-on, sticky messes *should* come out clean. And I know what you’re thinking - “What’s the point in saving water by pre-washing them, if I’m just gonna make the dishwasher PRE-WASH them?!” That’s where the beauty comes in!
      Modern dishwashers actually use VERY LITTLE water and they recycle that water to reuse over and over - that’s what the filter at the bottom is for! So, it will pre-wash the dishes with a teeny bit of dishwashing detergent and a little bit of VERY hot water, filter that water then use it again! That’s why it’s more efficient!
      Honestly, I only recently learned about this whole thing thanks to another TH-cam channel - Technology Connections - and initially I thought he had to be full of it. But in the video, he did test it out and proved that -as long as you use a pre-wash setting/option and fill the pre-wash detergent receptacle with detergent - it will clean most dishes without ever needing a manual pre-wash by hand, and it will do it more efficiently.
      If you’re at ALL interested in how things work, I highly recommend that channel. I’ve learned a ton of things that I never would have even thought to question.
      Anyways, I haven’t even WATCHED this video yet (LOL), so I’m gonna do that now. Hope you have a great day!! ❤️

    • @imalimabeanyay
      @imalimabeanyay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@storey662 ive seen said video. He had multiple even. But in it i seem to remember the “dry caked on” was something id hardly consider hard to remove, unlike something like refried bean residue that sat for days. As stated if you arent scraping your solids at the very least, you are 100% doing it wrong. Fairly certain it even says that in the video somewhere. Either way a quick google will show an article where the person consulted 3 dishwasher experts. Solid food should be scraped, and dry caked on food should be pre rinsed was the consensus. The problems i speak of are apparently even more prevalent in modern dishwashers as apparently they actually clog more often.
      Modern dishwashers also have things like quick wash setting. While rinsing may arguably be a bad habit, i will never risk that foul smelling standing water problem ive had to deal with before in childhood when family clogged the dishwasher with salad and spaghetti and let it sit a week. Again, normally youre expected to clear that filter at least every two months at a minimum, and ive basically never had residue.

    For the wiping I think it is easier to use dry toilet paper first and then you can use moistened toilet paper (just with water) to clean afterwards. I never had to use a wet wipes before for toileting.

      My diet is fine on both fibre and water, I even take probiotic supplements. However I still want my bum to feel clean. When I used to live in my home country, there's even water hose next to the toilet for cleaning purpose. Nowadays due to no water hose, I just use dry tissue, and if I'm home and close to a sink then I would double clean with wet tissue. I just don't advocate using ready made wet wipes as it clogs the sewer system and does not disintegrate as fast as the manufacturer wants we all to think.
      Anyway, if no wiping works for you then great. I personally would rather not have a surprise skid mark later on. I don't feel like I have anything else to say in this matter, you do you, and have a good day.

    The Spindry is noted as being dishwasher safe because some people use toilet brushes to clean hard-to-reach places in certain kinds of cookware and food-storage containers, like tall glass bottles. I am not one of those people and the thought of using a toilet brush to clean food canisters (even if the toilet brush has never been used to clean a toilet) skeeves me out, but I guess some other people don't have such reservations.

    Skull shaver works as most rotary shavers do. But for that task I prefer Philips ones , they do it a little bit better. I have similar , but for beard , and I lack the nose and ear one attachment as the one I have acts and feels weak for that task. Found some 20+ years ago that one use shavers gunk up easily with hair , so safety razor does the job better , as skin where hair grows is a bit greasier than that where beard grows. Oh , and , head shaving is better done without a mirror than with it , I get confused all the time , where as with touch feel , it's faster and better and i usually did it in the morning , so I can enjoy the rest of the day without fixing and what not. :)

    For anyone with sensitive skin in need of toilet soothing, invest in a bidet. I have IBS and buying a bidet changed me. I used to have to wipe a lot to the point that my skin would get irritated and even bleed sometimes. Now every trip is 1 wipe after using the bidet. I'm sure that spray can midigate some of the friction, but water will always beat paper. Also you'll save a decent amount on TP, I go through a roll about every 1-2 months.

    Seeing as all the moving parts of the Simply Dispense are in the upper half, perhaps you could make your own base and strap it to that instead. Or add an extension to the end of the tube that inserts into the base. I love the concept, but it as-is wouldn't work on my jumbo sanitizer bottles.

    I liked the toilet brush since I shake it but don't want to put it back in the holder and have water inside the holder, so rest it on the edge of the tub to dry. So the spinning action makes sense if it takes all the water off.
