if you do same in the video and still cannot see boot menu, You have to use power/charge cable, connect s21 with your laptop, then try it as in the video
I appreciate that. Idk why some people have to plug in. I have reset 10's of thousands of phones - even new phones on Android 14 - and I have not yet had to plug in to reset. Anyway, thank you for watching my video.
Some people say it worked when they connected to a tablet. Some people say it worked when they connected to their charger. Some people call me the space cowboy, yeah Some call me the gangster of love Some people call me Maurice 'Cause I speak of the pompatus of love
It doesnt work my phone got hacked been trying this on my s21 fe 5g doesnt work at all doesnt let me to the even to the reboot system menu just shows the blue security error text xd
@@JasonClements Yes sir you are correct the problem was in my device, the volume key circuit wasn't work i just resolder the components and fixed that problem. I have the S21 5G (SM-G991B) with android 13, with february Os update. Atleast for the model SM-G991B (mexican version) need a headset or USB C dongle. The steps i followed: 1 - connect usb c headset or usb c dongle. 2- press volume up and power key until samsung logo appears, then leave power key and keep volume up pressed until recovery appears. 3- Enjoy.
HILARIOUS!!! someone else in the comments wrote this: What worked for me was, shut down the phone holding power key and volume down. Then connect the phone to my laptop with charging while and once charging starts then hold volume up first then bixby key then power key and press and hold until in recovery mode. This is the process after the new Android updates. Also, make sure you are holding down the power button last. experiment with holding the combo longer or shorter. this is the way that samsung built into their phones to reset them. I think you'll get it. Good luck to you!
Sometimes it takes a few tries to get the buttons right. Also, some people are saying they have to connect phone to laptop/desktop as I wrote in the previous comment. You'll get it - I have the S21 5G and use it to demonstrate a factory reset all the time. You may want someone to watch your hands just to make sure you are following the instructions correctly. Good luck!
Make sure you press power last. I used to say that the Android 14 update makes it so you have to plug into a computer (no software, just connect) but after experimenting with a number of Samsung and Pixel devices, I have not found that to be the case. Others have said that has helped them reset their device. I have this exact S21 5G and as long as you hold the buttons correctly - AND let go correctly, it will reset. I do not have to plug it in. BUT, you might as well try it if nothing else is working for you. You'll get it. Good luck.
Some people are saying you have to connect to a computer with your cable (just make a connection, no software or anything) for it to reset. I have not experienced that with any of the Samsung Devices - this S21 5G in particular. You may need to have someone watch your hands to make sure you are following the instructions exactly. You'll get it. Good luck.
Straight to the point and no 10 minute introduction of what's going to happen lol
Yeah man! That's my style. I appreciate it!

try again - plug your charging cord into a pc or laptop, then do button combo. You'll get it.
