1998 Chevy S10 ZR2 no cat and dual-out flowmaster 40

I no longer own this vehicle, this is an older video.
1998 Chevy S10 ZR2 4.3L Vortec V6, no cat, and a single-in dual-out Flowmaster 40 series to 4" tips. Excellent sound, surprisingly little drone while cruising, loud and aggressive under acceleration.

+tyler geipel I got mine back in pristine condition, one straight pipe tho, hidden with a near 90 degree chrome tip under the bed. Cheaper and better sounding then this in your vid. s10 trucks are nickle and dime trucks. Spend some money on parts and love and time and you got yourself a great lil reliable truck.

Did you remove the resonator bc I have the same as yours the only thing I took off was the cat I want it the same as your old truck

Bishop Morrison this truck did not come with a factory resonator. The full setup was stock manifolds, factory y-pipe with cat removed, 2.5” straight pipe to the flowmaster 40, then another y-pipe out to the 4x18” tips.

the way this was done was illegal, honestly, catlyitic converter was cut out. the best way to get close to this while keeping it legal, is to get a flowmaster super 10 single chamber muffler. louder than a 40 series, but will sound almost exactly like this with the cat still in place.
