Very interesting. I was thinking of getting something similar, but the prices are all quiet a bit higher. Though I admit I was looking more for one which takes both PCIE and SATA. Thanks for the video.
Hey, the Lexar E350 accept SATA and NVME drives, but the E300 version I have here is NVME only. Hope this helps, I will be checking out a 40Gbps drive later as I just ordered this one too (affiliate link) s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDMZCB3
@@VrtuhubTech Cool tech, just not for me at this time as my PC died a few weeks ago and with zero money and income I don't see myself getting anything as expensive as that. I am considering this one you reviewed due to the under 10 euro price, but even for that I will have to think about it. If I do decide to get it, I will use your affiliate link. I never shopped from alixpress before so we will see. The only reason I am considering ordering one now is to get access to my files from my now dead PC. I have a laptop I am currently using, a i7-4710HQ based laptop from 2014, and it doesn't have a NVME slot so I have no way of accessing those files. As I said, I will think about it. Thank you again for the info.
@@VrtuhubTech That's nice of you, thank you. Yes I follow you for a bit now since I found your channel. Good content and you seem like a nice guy, so win win as far as I am concerned. Just a warning, I have no plans on releasing any new videos any time soon on my tech channel (this one) as as I mentioned in my other reply, zero money and zero PC to make videos on/about/with. I can still make some game related videos of older games on my other channels, but unfortunately no plans for new content here. Still, thank you for subscribing!
How about this one it's got sata and nvme support s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DBhnKet you get a nice welcome discount if you've never ordered from aliexpress before and with code 24AN02 you should get another €2 off. Price might be a little higher once you account for tax, not sure how it is in Greece but here in the UK if you pay the tax at checkout you have no problems at customs.
@@hitsuskater that sucks, you've got all that metal on the enclosure and no thermal pad for it. It is supposed to have one, even the link in the description has instructions on how to install it with the thermal pad. Not sure what is going on there but mine didn't have it either haha
hey mate you are saying its 10gbps so why its not working with gen 4 with fuss speed isnt it 6000 mbps = 6gbps so it can work fine with this one? or it dosnt work like that
10Gbps is the theoretical and really just a marketing ploy. Usb has various overheads and only a small part of that 10gbps can be used for data transfer. So in practice the maximum data speed is around 1000mbps. If you want higher you can get upto 3800mbps using a gen 4 40GBps nvme enclosure, which I have reviewed too.
Drive will probably work with that NVME SSD but from what I've gathered online, xbox series S games won't work from an external device maybe xbox One games might play. If you want full compatibility you should buy the xbox expansion card
@@VrtuhubTech yeah exactly I wanna use it just to stor games on it not to play from it so it does the same this 2.5 sata ssd does this one is better tho
@@Rabah_issaad yeh it looks like it's fine for storing games and playing older xbox one games off. The enclosure didn't come with a thermal pad though and others also reported it missing so you might want to consider buying from a different brand as it can overhead without this
@Rabah_issaad yeh this lexar one should come with but many being sent without so try another brand 👌 without a thermal pad the heat from the nvme isn't being removed efficiently
