Great video once again....! I watched the prevvious video to this and managed to set up my backup jobs I have just emailed you to get the free 50 GB of storage can't thank you enough.....! appreciate what you do keep up the good work.
I have an update on my Qnap Tvs-h674 repair. So far, the nas is on the way back, and I was told that the MB was replaced, Qnap is going to send the replaced MB for examination to Taiwan.
Sync can be a great option if you want to work on the data in 2 places at the same time, backup is a true backup... you should not edit/work from the data at the target or you will ruin the backup integrity.
We have another video on the channel on how to backup Windows to our NAS, Veeam offer some free software that is very good: th-cam.com/video/BXIGkJ3H4LM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7ctNKHaUCHq_mMD1
This looks like a great solution for us! Question: If we have about 7TB of data, it will take a long time to upload to the cloud - what is the best workaround for that?
It really depends on your upload speed of your Internet, but even on a decent business package you could still be looking at a few weeks to backup 7Tb.
Yes, we have share links possible now. If you tried it before and couldn't see it then that is because it was only added in the last couple of months. But yes you can create share links to either files or folders.
I only see the option to share qnap ID with users. at the same time, the manual mentions the possibility for anyone. Can I ask for advice? I have also paid the bill.
They will be required to have an address registered as a QNAP ID, we do not support anonymous sharing currently, they will have to authenticate to access. They do not need a QNAP to create a QNAP ID.

Hi - great video. What is the difference between sync and backup, I did not get this. Thanks

excellent video. Could you help me configure my TS133 to automatically backup folders from my PC to the NAS?
I'm not getting.
Thanks

@@QNAPUK are there options to send a seed drive to a physical storage location?
Unfortunately not an option we have currently.
Missed the extra offer 😢
What do you do with a TS-870 Pro? Will it get version 22.1? Is there a workaround?
Unfortunately not. The latest version of QTS this NAS supports is 4.3.6.2441, which only supports version 3.0.210916 of Hybrid Backup Sync.
Is it possible to share the saved data somehow or is it just a backup space?
