Your guess on KJM shed E loco shortage is accurate. They use around 10 G9s for regular passenger services and also EMDs are still having lovely mainline duties. The southern outers of Solapur used to be breakage yard for condemned coaches and there were many old coaches waiting there for D day. Now this yard is being relaid and new lines are also being laid to augment additional traffic requirements from hotgi Vijayapura Gadag line. Thanks for covering Vlog in beautiful incidental narration in Malayalam and I felt very nice on hearing. Again lots of love from TN part of India. 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

I spent 19 hours stuck at Dudhani in the 90's on the 16331 when there was a goods train derailment ahead of us. That day the Nethravathi which used to leave at 8 pm was diverted vis Satara at Pune and I met it at KJM I think. At Dudhani, the Alco was not shut down so I asked the LP why so. He said that there was no guarantee that the engine would fire back to life on restart. The engine was infact decoupled and taken for some departmental work at the accident site and most of the engineers from SUR division were Keralites who had come for the restoration work.

At 24:00 it is NTPC Solapur. The aqueduct that you see carries water from the Bhima, as there is no other water source nearby. This grandiose project was the brainchild of Sushilkumar Shinde, local member, and the then Minister for Power at the centre.
The train has been given diesel link because Gadag to hotgi electrification work is in progress but not completed
Urudu is because majority of Muslims living in AP, KA and TN mothertounge is Urdu.

Sir Earth work after Wadi junction is related to SCR's Wadi Bypass. SCR is creating there own bypass & ditching CR Bypass or CR limits to avoid CR Zonal constraints & unnecessary delay & handover issues. Line immediately after bypass towards Sedam - Vikarabad are also under SCR. Also that Halakatta Halt on Bypass line too belongs to SCR. This new bypass would help SCR to bypass Mandatory Clearance from Wadi CR for moving to their own zonal lines have full section control under them.
I forgot to mention your daughter is beautiful and lovely personality. Especially telling you at Wadi that she'll eat both the Vadas with a bright smile! How sweet is that and fond memories to treasure from this trip. Hopefully she enjoyed this adventure?

TPJ & MDU are run by the same provider. Its too pricey and there are better options outside
