With Specialized Sworks 68mm, the Praxis BB won't fit flush on drive side when it bottoms out. I got in touch with Praxis people and they acknowledged the problem. I have not installed it on other bikes so not sure if it fits them better.
I love how we need all these frikkin expensive specialty tools to install/remove stupid PF BB. I hate these things. Good old fashioned threaded required few tools and didn't give me any really bad creaking like there is nowadays. Now the frame manufacturers cut corners, even on $3000 frames and give poor tolerance for these PF crap.
An alternative to this for PF30 frames that have a metal bearing sleeve is to cut threads directly into the bearing sleeve so you can use a T47 threaded bottom bracket.
rip had a shop that was a praxis works dealer do this for me and they put the o ring on the drive side. so it ended up throwing my chain line off. time to see if they own up to there mistake and fix it. saddly i didnt notice it for quite some time so its questionable. of only i had a bearing press tool
John Smith it definitely does when your allready at the max of Shimanos specs my chain stays are 408mm. And before I got the o ring switched over to the right side I had bad chain noise in the largest rear cog as the chain line was at a huge angle. 1mm can make a difference when your allready at the line

Is there an extra step for a Specialized OSBB frame? I believe they're 61mm wide, and need to be widened out via spacers to 68mm?
+tmunk123 Yup, OSBB Spesh frames are: Carbon 46mm 61mm and Alloy 42mm 68mm. Cheer´s
Do you have the actual part numbers for the Shimano bottom bracket tools
Shimano tools didn’t fit when I removed my one
would this procedure work for a Specialized Demo Frame as well (PF 30 DH)?
Yes
