LEVATIME II - OVERVIEW
Strongman Eamon Lucas stopped by our Santa Cruz HQ and got an impromptu overview of the new LevaTime II technology : Our fastest and most snappy rings we’ve ever produced!
LevaTime II is our new generation of shifting tech. Updated to a new stiffer LT2 5mm big ring, this allowed our engineers to increase the amount of shift features and the type of shift features we could forge into the ring. It also allowed us to use our new fast engaging forged shift pins to improve shift speed. Holding it together with even better support is our beefed-up LT2 forged X-Spider. All of this adds up to the fastest and most snappy feeling shift we’ve ever produced.

its breaking my xt chain
these wave rings are no bueno for Shimano 12sp HG+ chain doesnt even want to stay on the chainring.
Having the same issue. My chain jumps off all the time
@@christopherheiges3234 they updated a new ring, but its pretty much the same as SRAM X-Sync ring. Works fine now, but its practically the same just branded to praxis.
@@zachtaylor598 the one on my bike is from 2021, came factory mismatched with all the 12 sp shimano parts on the rear
What’s the extractor bolt for
Excellent tutorial, well explained and easy to follow!
Excelente video
I've done everything and the crank is either to loose or too tight I have the correct size bb its an easton. Are they not compatible? Plz someone help
And they fit just right I'm missing something

How do you get it out?
Oh nevermind lol
With Specialized Sworks 68mm, the Praxis BB won't fit flush on drive side when it bottoms out. I got in touch with Praxis people and they acknowledged the problem. I have not installed it on other bikes so not sure if it fits them better.
Same on the ritte Ace sadly :(
is praxis m30 spindle have same as ultegra r8000 crankset spindle?,
They're totally different spindle standards: Praxis Works M30: 30 mm drive-side, 28 mm non-drive side Shimano Hollowtech II: 24 mm
can you use a shimano bottom bracket for a praxis crankset in roadbike
It's impossible as the spindle standards don't match.
Does anyone know the specific BB cup removal tool he used?
Park Tool BBT 90.3
Do you know how they make hollow forged pice?
is DMA the boost version? and not the DMB
Can I use BBInfinite BB with zayante carbon crank?
Can you just Get the ORANGE SEALS ??? Just Picked up a USED 2013 Niner Air 9 Alloy with This Type of Thread Together PF30 Bottom Bracket
For the removal, is one wrench enough for both sides? I have an M30 on a threaded BB
Very useful and helpful !!!🔥❤️
And it creaks.
How much force (Nm) must be applied to tighten?
How much force (NM) must be applied to tighten?
There's no torque spec, when you feel a hard stop, that's when you stop tightening.
Effettuando il montaggio così il fattore Q é diverso tra dx e sinistra, manca uno spessore
Help! i have a cannondale bb30 is it compatible with sram pf30? or do I need something else
I have a 2016 Specialized Tarmac with PF30 (OSBB converted to BB30/PF30). Do you guys have BB for my bike. I don't want to remove the existing pressed cup because it is glued to the carbon shell. Also I want to keep my FSA 386EVO crankset, Thanks
Well done....many thanks! I have the newer generation PF30 to 24 Shimano conversion. Hoping you can tell me which Park headset removal tool I need for purposes of removing the non-drive side housing. Really appreciated. VTY, David
need this ....hate bb30 push fit on my sworks tarmac. poor integrity with frame
Literally told me nothing
any help on sizes? i have a OSBB 46 x 61 i think. need to fit a campag ultra torque.
ouch that sucks to sacrifice a nice piece
Can i use it flor specialized stumpjumper sworks 2015 and xx1 bb30 crankset ?
Very desaponted with praxis, very noisy system.sory.but shimano is better.
2 teef don't do much. Do the math
Chris S this is exactly what I thought aswell. Might as well just go 46/30 and bigger cassette in the back
If you only need a little more gearing, it'll do the job. The smaller big ring also keeps you in the big ring longer which has less frictional loss. That said, with shimano's 4 bolt spiders, you can run a 30t small ring which is a very big difference from a 34t. *Also, 2t matter more as chainrings get smaller. A 54 and 52 don't make the difference a 34 to a 32 make
@@astrayagrarian that's fine if your cranks will take that 30t. I think most bikes should come with something like a 46/30 or even a 46/32 for better shifting along with an 11-36 or 10-33 from SRAM with everything going to 12sp.
where's that 46/30?
Why the fuck you need to use special tool?! Now i need to buy your 20$ tool
Okay so if there is a very slight looseness in my crank arms what do I do is this normal?
Hi what crank set do you have and how have you found it?
Bbinfinite works better, Gary and wess have also been Using r\d wayyyyy longer
This is by far the best tutorial I’ve seen on TH-cam! Please BB manufacturers, yes you C-bear, take a lesson from these guys and spend some time by uploading a high quality tutorial! This guy’s voice is amazing and so clear! It was a pleasure listening to him.
rubber mallet not necessary or appropriate. Metal hammer, as in ball peen would be mo bettah.
I’ve always used grease for anti seize
Anti seize has a cooper as component , Grease got to have a teflon in the component otherwise It may corrode, I use a Marine grade grease. Good luck
Super P I’ve been using park tools 1000 never failed me I cycle 18k miles yearly in rainy Kauai 🤙🏼👏🏼🚴🏽♂️
Awsome Good to know .... some grease are not as much resistance to water than others .. !! Cheers !!!! Be safe bud
Didn't know Bob Ross did bottom bracket conversions. "There are no creaks, only grunts"
Hi there I have a cannondale with bb30, I have constantly a problem with creaking noises. Will this praxis help me with this issue I also would like to know if once I installed the praxis I will need a new crankset?
Could you show a vid about the problem please?
Chainring 48/32 is comparable with S-Works Power Crankset BCD110 with carbon spider?
Bump, can the praxis 48/32 fit sworks powercranks?
@@3mvious I have same question. Any luck to get the answer?
I have same question. Any luck to get the answer?
Is it comparable with it? I want to know too...thanks.
How about a 46 / 30 for Gravel Riding
I’d like to use this Praxis 48/32 crankset on a carbon Open Up frame, which uses an EVO386 bottom bracket standard. What bottom bracket would you suggest for this crank/frame set up, and would you recommend that the BB be installed with loctite or grease? Thanks!!
Nobody: Praxis Bottom Bracket: "creak-creak-creak"
There was an old version that did not use the orange expanding elastomer. I have both but unfortunately I miss-placed the elastomer and I cannot get a replacement off them in the uk. So annoying its just an elastic band of a very specific shape.
Wait.....they will not sell you just the elastomer ring? Even if you pay for the item *and* shipping?
So do you need a new hollow tech crank set as this places the bearings on the outside of the frame the crank tube must be longer to reach the other sie?
i was wondering the same thing. did you ever find an answer?
I have the older cadet with 94bcd and I kind of like that design better compared to direct mount. Is there a clear advantage that outweighs having to remove the crankset on DM?
Can I use a Zayante Carbon Wave Tech 1x for a SRAM Force AXS 1x12 Setup (with the new asymetric chain)?
