@@tapecknows Actually, I don't think you need to remove the two pins or in your case the two screws, at the top of the fairing as there does not seem to be any part of the cover that is held by those two fasteners.
@@kevinwilkinson1510 i have just done it, and I can confirm that these 2 extra pins / screws do not need to be removed 👍👍 Thank you very much for the information 👏👏
Thank you so much. My 2020 Xmax batter died due to the cold weather and not riding for two weeks and I needed quick video to help me out! Just connected the charger and hopefully it will work when I need to leave for work early in the morning at 4.30AM !!
I’m glad I can help! Once you know which bolts to undo, it’s relatively quick to get to the battery. The battery should be ready to go in 3-4 hours since it’s a small battery 🔋
Very useful video 👏👏, and I just want to point out that the two lower pins or screws located at the top of the fairing do not need to be removed, as there does not seem to be any part of the cover held by them. Thanks for the video! 👍👍
@@tapecknows Thank you very much again, and to offer some more information to others seeking for help, my Xmax 300 is a Spanish 2018 model 😉😉 Thanks again, and keep up the good work! 😉😉👍👍
@@tapecknows I am one of those people who breaks everything I touch and wing it. But as these panels are expensive, I won't be messing about. I have seen a few videos on TH-cam but nothing clearly showing as well as you did. The part I need on the parts site just shows the top part, not the black piece that runs down to foot rest so it has to be able separate. Panels can be so fiddly.
No those are the stock indicator signals here in the UK and I believe in Europe too. I know the models in the US have those indicators that stick out like a standard motorcycle
Nothing really that noticeable, I have my windscreen on the highest setting and I never feel like my head to getting taken off. I'm 5'8" and I could do with a bit more leg room. I've adjusted my handlebars so I have a more upright riding position but leg space could do with a slight increase in the forward position. Then again, I don't want my legs out front like a Harley haha
Hello again..! Nice stuff. Damn seems like you got alot of stuff connected to your battery. If you can check out my two reviews (also one of my xmax) would be much appreciated :)
very disappointing, after the shooting session sound u did not continue where u left u just put back the case. I wanted to hear u tell us more about how to take out the battery etc. pointless video...
Short and to the point, thank you. My U.S. Xmax 300 has 2 screws and two push pins holding the battery cover on.
Those push pins must make it slightly easier to take off

Delta, you are right there was no need to remove the two screws located near the speed monitor, because the front panel just clips in there.
@@colinmurphy4403 Thank you very much for the information 😉😉
Thanks for a very clear demo. I need to drip feed my battery when I store my Xmax when I head overseas. Cheers.
Glad it helped!
Thanks for that easy simple instruction. Is the side blue panels easy to remove? I am trying to replace a badly scratched blue panel.
I haven’t tried yet but I think they’re simple enough. I’ll make a video if I need to take the panels off at some point

Have you looked at installing a gps tracker on the Xmax?
Yeahh I have a Monimoto tracker on mine
How do you connect a battery tender so that you can charge the battery without removing the cover? Thanks.
Thanks for the question! It's a simple task, just screwing it on the battery terminals but I've got a video coming up for that soon!
Got a video for your question here! th-cam.com/video/KVtb4s5P5UY/w-d-xo.html
Where did Your turn signals go? Did you upgrade front and back? Thanks

How do you open seat with dead battery?
You should have a key for your XMAX, the lock is on the exhaust side under the seat, just above the engine
Very good video! How would you say windbuffeting is on the scooter say up to 50mph? And how tall are you, and is it roomy enough?

Good Vids , well explained. Used to have a 06 silverwing. Picking up 1 of these tomorrow. Scooters are functional Fun.
How are you getting on with your XMAX?
@@tapecknows Didn't get. Bike had damage from shipping and unfortunately it is the only one within 300 miles of me so now I wait.
Great video! Are you considering any modifications to parts of your XMAX? Like carbon fibre parts and such...
Thank you Janson! Yeah I’m thinking of changing the exhaust and even the handlebars. I’ll have to wait for work to start again though 😔
Where is the lighter fuse located
Not sure
Thanks very much man this video saved my day!
Glad it helped!
Can you please let me know how to change kph display to mph?
It’s an analogue speedometer so you simply read the smaller numbers for mph
@@tapecknows the digital odometer?
Oh if you mean the odometer then I’m not sure how to change that from km to miles, might be specific to country the bike was sold in
Ok thank you I will look in to it
how to change the fuel tank cover of xmax 300, I got a fibre one
Sounds like a good one, I’ll look into it!
Trade in your Allen key wrenches for magnetic ones trust me
