I need to do the front brakes on my 2013 Elantra GT in probably another 20K miles, currently has 68K on the original pads and rotors. I plan on replacing the rotors instead of resurfacing bc the new ones should last another 80K miles. In past experience, I never had good reliability with resurfacing.

It could be a similar process on Hyundai Elantra, also rotors aren’t that expensive too, I replaced front/rear pads and rotors (OEM) on our Honda CR-V at 90k miles in it, I sold it at 198k miles in it with 5mm pads left.
