I am literally begging you to turn this into a series just because I like the advice and seeing art babies makes me feel better about being an art baby myself
Would be fun to see something like the' improving your original characters' series he does on discord but with the people actually there in the room to see some reactions
Same! This video made me feel way more relaxed and not as pressured because other art babies make the same mistakes I do. I needed this tutorial on the face badly 😂
@@IfdesHerzog I was watching the video out of the corner of my eye and I thought they were holding fluffy white kitties and my heart palpitated at how cute it looked until I actually focused on the screen and saw it was just the sttufies
Yo Natalie is so talented and I love seeing Thano's joy at the end seeing his progress. Awesome video! Thank you, guest stars for representing the art bebes! Cant wait to apply this lesson to my drawings
I don't know which is funnier, Thano's gigachad Sam or Natalie just trying to blame Sam's face for her mistakes lol 😂😂 I love this so much! Edit: Omg, nearly 500 likes on my comment?! I never comment, so this is crazy! Thanks so much guys!
The ABSOLUTE effectiveness of a teacher actively guiding you with the proportions, dividing the face, symmetrical lines, ect,.. can NOT be undervalued. You see how fast they grasped the prosses and all the tips and tricks to keep things nice and even? Man. I'm so jealous it took me forever to teach myself all this on my own.
This unlocked a memory of me trying to teach people art when i was like 9 and advertising it by going up to my classmates with a drawing and saying 'Do you want to draw like this?' and one girl just went '💀 no.'
Please do more of this, i think it’s really helpful to see noobs being taught at drawing because it’s mistakes that a lot of people make. This improved my stuff
Seeing your first video then watching your last is crazy to see. The growth in 3 years is amazing. I found your channel looking for ways to better my art. Keep it up!
Your friends did great! My brother used to do this for me when we were kids, setting me challenges and giving me a score out of 10. It was a fun way to improve. I really liked Natalie's first attempt It was cute. Thano's improvement was wow.
This video had me laughing so much (in a good way) I would like to thank Sam for making a great tutorial-lesson, you make adjustments as needed and very well explained that everyone can understand. You bring a level of excitement and motivation that is unparallel to other videos out there. Look forward to watching your other videos!
Thankyou so much Sam. Your videos never fail to cheer me up. They're a huge inspiration to me and you're literally my idol. Whenever I feel like giving up, you change my mind. You inspire me to keep trying.❤ :)
currently stuck at home recovering from slight sunstroke so I've been practicing my drawing and this actually helped me a lot too, that first little diorama head you did was super helpful
you should do more videos with your friends. You could feel the joy in there and see that you were having fun. If you would have an art school i would definitely sign up like now for the patreon. Its a cool way to show that literally everyone can become ,,an art god".
I am in love with the concept of this video it's it has the perfect mix of having fun and also all of you learning. I'd love to see them again maybe learning to digitally paint a piece you made beforehand
Sam socializing??? I thought it to be impossible but at leas HE, has friends. Nice vid as always. Edit: I can't stop thinking about how much Natalie's second drawing looks like the scrapped cart titan design lol.
It's kind of cool seeing their fist pieces and noticing the details they see in his face. E.g, it looks like they captured the same expression even though they drew him differently.
i just saw a old piece of sam, where the young sam wants to do the haircut he has now but his mom gets him a bob cut instead. dayum, he really envisioned things way ahead. also he had talked about wanting to launch his own sketchbook series, nd here we are today, hats off to you sam (your intros keep getting wierder nonetheless:)
Dude, i'm still afraid of art so much, but this video is making me laugh, I haven't really laughed in days. I needed this, I NEEDED THIS SO MUCH! Thank you.
You have really helped me keep my mind off of my brother's recent passing and ty for making videos you may not hear ot much but you seriously help and my first thought was to come here after my cat just passed
This was hard to watch as an artist, but I noticed whatever Sam said was exactly what I was thinking when they were drawing. Lol maybe it’s like artists have the same mindset when drawing 😂
this is so cute, feels like im hanging out with them. im an advanced art baby ??? i guess and i agree side profiles are HARD i loved the added blush 🥺 and chad sam xD
almost immediately i felt like i needed to draw and halfway in i spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to locate a pencil case and now here i am.. im now using a ruler to try and get the thirds right 😂😭 its so good and informative
ART BABIES AND PPL THAT CAN DRAW Before you guys watch that beautyful sam's vid: Take pencil, something to draw on and draw Sam like his friends and compare your drawings to what his friends did. Thats SUPER fun and you can see what is off abt your drawing. Ive done that and Sam, i wish you could see how much progress have i made within those years that i'm drawing for. Have a nice day/night guys!
Very huge off topic but when i was younger like maybe about 3 or 4 years old i started drawing and I would draw a LOT and that made me draw anywhere and that would make my mom angry so she somehow made me stop drawing but then i started drawing again at the age of 8 or 9?? and now i’m almost 14 and you inspire to draw more, thank you Sam !!
loved this, what a good teacher you are! I just missed where/ how far back the eye is placed and the nostrils go. I'd love to see more videos like this

Them holding the birbs at the beginning is everything😂😂
They are more like borbs. But yeah they are ADORABLE

Wlup
This is proof that “lack of talent” is not an excuse to avoid learning, train, have fun and you will improve💗
How did Natalie start off so bad but do such a nice one, yet Mr. Greek descendant started off so strong and ended up making Sam cry
But he's so fucking hot, can't have all the greek qualities
? He started off really poor and ended really strong. Not sure you watched the video.
@@thisisnotthechannelyourelo407 He is referring to only the first drawings that they did at the start.
@@GoopyGuppyGoblinI think it all looked progressive 😅

I could really relate with Thano's feelings when you compare your before and after art and see the improvement ❤
I like watching your videos bc it's always fun and helpful for me on drawing, and sam looked like he was in pain the entire video 😂
The way they drew Sam drawn like handsome Squidward is just peak realism.
Loved to see the improvement of both! It was so wholesome
I have the feeling Sam has lost a chunk of his sanity in this video 😂
What sanity he lost that looking at Tik tok tutorials
He’s not gonna have any left at this rate
sam you have no idea how much you have helped me with drawing. Thank you so much
Please do more of this, i think it’s really helpful to see noobs being taught at drawing because it’s mistakes that a lot of people make. This improved my stuff
1:14 BUT i really like this style 🥺 she’s doing a great job!!!!
Why can't all art teachers be like Sam 😭😭😭
yeah the best my art teacher did is just watch shows on her mobile while kids do whatever they want
fr
@@lola-to9omlol my art teacher would just explain the concepts to us and expect us to become masters
This is not a how to draw, this is how to humble Sam

I cant believe sam isn't just a top half
HELPP
hold up what
Went to bed late and sad, this definitely made my day better. A funny video where you don't have to draw perfectly ,very relaxing.
Sam is literally my favorite artist, he held in his sanity the whole time like he's about to die. I love it😂

This is a great vid. I can learn a lot from this as a beginner and see mistakes that I should avoid and fix. Thank you, Sam.
currently stuck at home recovering from slight sunstroke so I've been practicing my drawing and this actually helped me a lot too, that first little diorama head you did was super helpful
Thano improved so much in this hour! And Natalie did amazing too!
Sam is so encouraging to them! That makes me feel warm
Damnit why everyone in this video so good looking 🤧✨?? Also Natalie a mood, love her lol. Great tutorial as always Sam

Something about watching beginner artists practice and improve is always inspiring to me 😊
This was fun to watch! Please do more of these.
You both did an amazing job. Always remember, the only difference between a "pro" artist and a "noob" is experience. You can do it!
watching this video made me feel really good, just putting in time and effort can help you improve so fast and I think that's a beautiful thing
OMG I ASPIRE TO DRAW LIKE NATALIE IT IS SO SAM IT'S SO GOOD ONG (the cartoon sam was my faveee)

Thank you you helped me a lot to with drawing I was starting to get bored of drawing but you just brought my Interest in drawing back!!! Tysm
Sam torturing his friends for our entertainment is something I never expected, I hope they at least agreed with that and had a choice

1:56 Gotta agree with Thano on that one
First time ive seen sam interact with people
I’ve been drawing for 7 years and my realism art still looks like the warm up ones in the beginning.
