Loved when you said that we could mute the sound and still be able to get the gist of the song just by looking at her expressions. It actually didn't hit me until now...
Lara Fabian was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she also has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano)... Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with her Italian teacher untill nowdays, she has two vocal teachers (From Belgium and Italy) and she keeps having vocal lessons at least 3 times per week on-line. Lara also workz as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. Lara is the ULTIMATE ARTIST !! she has one of the most powerful voices in history, her breath control is other-worldly, her she has near perfect diction in all languages, her phrasing is right up there with the likes of Frank Sinatra, her technique is that of a master performer and is studied by many, many singers, her tone is unbelievably warm even though powerful, and she has the unique trait of seeming to sing to each audience member individually.........she LIVES each piece and absolutely INVITES each to join her INTO the journey that the composer intended, she is not afraid to show the proper emotion on her face, even if ( God forbid ) it is an ugly face On top of all her enviable and admired qualities she remains a wonderful person. There is many, many singers out there and there is certainly one who trips each listener in a way that makes them special to that person - and Lara Fabian is that artist for me. let us not forget that she writes many of her songs and if you look at those songs without the associated music, just the words, they are very poetic. I love all her performances but may I suggest the following .........I am a wa - a video of her in a recording session which shows her search for perfection ( a " wa " is best described as an inner soul ), .....Par que du Parse ( before you leave - great guitar solo .........I guess I loved you - incredible technical and emotional experience......... - please be well

Il y a des artistes qui ont des voix plu incroyable que lara ,qui vont faire une performance en terme d'émotion incroyable ,mes lara ce sont toute les chansons qu'elle chante qui sont émotionnelle.

Surtout broken vow chanson qui donne des frissons car lara est toujours à fond en terme d'émotion et les paroles sont triste.

Hello from the Netherlands my friend. Perdere L'amore is indeed heart breaking. You also mentioned Je Suis Malade . A real treat would be that very same Je Suis Malade from a concert in 2003. It has a complete different 'vibe' and I'm very sure it will leave you stunned. Another candidate would be Je T'aime from that same 2003 concert. Every single time I watch and listen I'm in tears. That might have something to do with the quite recent passing of my wife though. Go for it my friend. You're my favourite reactor!!!

When first inroduced from 1988 -+ 1992 she was nearly a pure pop and dance singer with a smidge of folk. There is a samping of her music in chronological order on her multimedia youtube page, from 88 - the present. She started out in 88 in a Eurovision talent contest won by some girl named Celine something. It started a bit of a feud between these Europoean superstars, During the special you have been sampling from "From Lara with Love" She covered White Christmas. That EXTRA special is also on TH-cam, and very much worth an hour to watch.
Lara speaks 4 languages fluently (French, English, Italian and Spanish) but she sang in 12 languages ! She also speaks a bit Russian, and Dutch. Great reaction as always ! Thank you !

Very few artist/singers/song writer are able to go in & out of what may be called “singer normal voice” and “singer speech voice”. The American Icon “Mrs. Dolly Parton” is famous for her story telling. I am not saying Dolly can sing like Lara. I am saying both these ladies tell story’s while singing & use this technique with ease & it is easy to get caught up in the story many times. That is learned & few pull it off. Dolly with that 30 track Rock & Roll album has introduced many around the world too these all time great R&R songs to new generations.
