The struggle for booster packs was real just to open it up and get Trap Hole or Dark hole for the 9th time. My friends had to ban me from using Toon World and the Toon monsters just cause it was too op. Toon Blue Eyes = friendship killer
my friends unstopable dragon deck he lended me got stolen from my locker during pe in middle school lol then when i bought an Atlantis deck i saw every card separated from that deck in other peoples deck black rose dragon someone had kt and it was the same one same dent same crease so i know who ever stole the deck made money lol buts its what ever now

Yes but I'm not a big fan of them
XYZ are actually very simple aside from certain monsters and the Chaos XYZ Monsters. Pendulum is where everything got out of hand, and don't get me started on Link Summoning. Just do what Zelda did and wait 100 years. That's less complicated that the mechanics behind the new summoning method.
I love how people hate on pendulum so much yet there have only been about 4 pendulum decks worth using. And don't even get me started on how easy pendulum is stop but rather than put in the effort I guess its just easier for you people to complain smh. As for link summoning well it's basically synchro summoning without tuners if that's too complicated to understand I feel sorry for you...
I'm not saying I hate them or it being complicated. I know they're easy to stop, but I'm just not too crazy about them. A friend of mine uses Performapal/Odd Eyes Pendulums like there's no tomorrow and I beat them with ease a large number of times with my Synchros and Dark Magician. Decks
Fusion, sync, xyz summon, and now pendulum summons.
Honestly id love to see a physical form of slifer or even ra, exodia or obelisk fight against cell like in jump force

Can y'all each do a walkthrough series of Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green??? I think you guys would have a lot of fun together playing those games and trying to see who can complete the pokedex and beat the Pokemon league and trainer tower first. Then, the winner gets to have bragging rights lmao 😂😂😂. But in all seriousness, I would love to see you guys play those games together. 😏
Lol. Those were the days. I used to love playing yugioh. I never got the duel disk. I can use all except for the newest cards. I used to play pokemon cards too. But once yugioh came out everyone started playing that.

In yugioh gx they didn't really add anything extra, they still used fusion monsters like in the original yugioh, but in 5ds they added synchro monsters. And if you grew up playing it and understand the game before they add stuff it's easier to learn, but a new player trying to learn now has no chance lmao. There's so much to learn now. But if you learned it as the game progressed it was much simpler

The discrepancy between the show and the game, is the show follows the manga, which predated the actual game. It wasn't until Konami noticed how popular the game was in the manga, that the real card game was created. The anime was released to follow the manga and promote the card game.
Also, the God cards were never legal(until they released legal versions, starting with Obelisk as a Shounen jump promo card.)They had no effects, and the back of the cards were different colours, making them stand out in your deck. Konami had never meant for them to be playable, they were collectors items only.
