That video that Bulma and Dr. Briefs were watching was Dr. Gero's son. The Kamehameha you heard in the background was Goku as a kid. In Dragonball, Goku destroyed the entire Red Ribbon Army, so what TFS was implying here is that Goku was the one who killed Gero's son, and as an act of revenge, and coping, he created Android 16, who was entirely based on his dead son. More so a dark Easter egg than a joke IMO.

It stresses me out so much when reactors miss stuff. I mean, talking is fine, as long as you can pay attention at the same time. It's easy to miss details and TFS's jokes if you look away for a couple of seconds.

It was less of Goku thinking of doing Krillin, and more of wondering that if Krillin wore a wig that looked like his hair then it might buy him a few minutes to run.

Actually, the tag-in joke was about Krillin tagging in for a turn at Chichi and the wig thing Goku suggested was about Krillin disguising himself to look like Goku so he could pull it off.

For anyone who didn't know, Android 16 was created by Dr. Gero to be based off of his son that died
that scene with gero's son (human android 16) refers to when goku destroyed the red ribbon army. if you listen to the date in the beginning (may 12th age 750) it is that date. so basically in DBZA lore gero builds the androids to kill Goku cause goku killed gero's son when he destroyed the red ribbon army (i.e. the kamehameha you hear before the vid cuts off)
But only Android 16 was programmed specifically to kill goku, which makes sence.

Yeah HELL is perfectly fine, so long as you dont actually go there. (renamed HFIL) and you cant Hail Satan, so they renamed him to the same name that the french dub called him "Hercule". I hate when they change names, since Toriyama loves naming puns and having familys or groups to have matching names. Like Mr Satan and Videl (deVil), the ginyu force all named after dairy products, Freezer/Cooler/Cold for villains names. Even Saiya-jin means Vegetable people, with Kakarott for Carrot, Vegeta for Vegetable, Nappa is chinese Cabbage, Raditz for Radish. Also Bibidi Babidi Buu for the Fairygod mothers magical song from Cinderella.

If you think about it, Goku could have just go chill in the hyperbolic time chamber. I think every minute equates to like 6 hours in there, so if he went in for like 10 minutes it would have given him about 3 days to recover.

After watching your reactions to this, I just have one question; How far back have you watched this? I know you guys have a life, busy with other things, and I have no judgements or criticism whatsoever. I'm just curious as to how far back you've watched DBZ Abridged. Gauging your reactions, I can tell that you two just started watching this and haven't watched the Namek saga because there were at least two scenes here that's a reference to their own jokes.
