I appreciate that you didn't fast forward through your video. And not playing some annoying music in the background like so many TH-cam tutorials do. Hey Suz, welcome onboard and thank you for watching. These techniques work better on paper as using acrylics like watercolour can weaken the ability of the acrylics to stick to things. So if you do use it on canvas you might find that the colour lifts off more easily than you are use to if you try to layer over the top. But I usually say with these things try it and see if it fits with your creative process, just keep this in mind if you do try it, you might have to work round it or find a why to use it to your advantage!

I managed to do my art projects I used some circles petal shape/ embraced the layers with shimmer paints
I love the straw technique. Have used it with alcohol inks and bubble paintings. It produces a nice 'spidery' look.
