Or the slowly opening a door and peeking outside first before you exit a room like a real person would do. Yes the enemy was a bit goofy (and creepy at the same time) but at some point I could see myself in that huge house tiptoeing barefoot from room to room, tilting my head at doorways while holding my breath, looking for the intruder. Not to mention the music when she starts chasing you and you frantically try to hide on time! Very intense. Chris thank you for yet another fun evening!
You know I once tried to prototype something similar to this but I dropped it due to the fact I found the pursuer who was a fairly normal looking person might not be ideal for tense chases. After seeing this however, I'm thinking of going back to it.

Despite the goofiness of the models, nearly every jumpscare capture got me. I have to say that was actually rather freaky. Unsettling is a good choice of word to describe this. Imagine how scary a game the dev could make if they tried to without the deliberate silliness.
I don't know how you do it Chris but even games that other players make miserable to watch you make so much fun. You will always be my first go to for game play

There was this movie short that is similar to this. There is this weird 'cursed' box thing, but you can't throw it away, it has to be given to someone. You can't just dump it at their house either. Not to sound like a broken record but I really hope you one day do a FEAR 2 playthrough. It’s my favourite game and I’d love to see you play through it as well. It’s the same kinda action as the first but more story driven and the scares are decent. Moreover the gun play is really good and the slow motion is just as nice. It’s honestly an improvement over the first in almost every way. Just never play FEAR 3, that was a travesty. Hopefully you read this. Last time I’ll comment for this, don’t wanna bug you too much about it.
The graphics were good, and the gun play / fettel play was fun, but it didn’t have the scares that the previous two did, the story was lacklustre, and it was really really short. Like disappointingly so compared to Fear 2 or 1.
