- Preseason stepped up a gear on Saturday as Ipswich Town revealed their home and away look for 23/24! Later on in the afternoon, the first friendly of the summer ended in a 6-0 victory for Town over semi-pro Felixstowe & Walton. We give our reaction to that and more!

The home kit is lovely. I’ve never been a fan of our orange away kits but this one is decent.
Rich is absolutely spot on with regards to Mark Ashton. He is a business CEO who happens to operate within football. I work in a big business industry and speak/listen to corporate management often and this guy is exactly the same in the way he prepares and speaks. I wouldn’t want it any other way. I think the average fan that doesn’t have experience in the corporate world would struggle to understand the importance of this as they are only looking through a football lens (I don’t mean that to sound patronising, we all have differing backgrounds). MA is clearly well prepared, great at communicating to the community, a great strategist and knows how to build a team (not football team) and get the best from them. I think any mistakes made at Bristol City, we are benefiting from those experiences.
Agree the sponsor is integral to the design. We have the best sponsor in the whole 92, and I hope to see that reflected when Ben and Mrs Ben review the Championship shirts.

Have to say that the orange away shirt looks fine but if it is a bit tight on the wearer it looks a bit like it's been made out of an old bed quilt due to the shapes on the body of the shirt.
Rich confirms the shirt isn’t as fitted as last year. Similar sizing though

Kits aren't as horrible as people are saying... only issue is the collar on the home. Not bad though

Not a huge fan of the home shirt, which is a little disappointing. I don't like the collar. Orange top is decent though, if I liked orange. I'm sure the blue kit looks better in person :)

Our rating of this year’s kits are being skewed by the standard set last year. All of last year’s kits were 9/10 minimum. For me this year’s kits away 7/10 and home is 5/10
Ipswich average attendances are very good. Do the club draw support throughout Suffolk, which does have a very large population ?
The town has a population of c.125,000 plus a bit more from surrounding areas. We are a one club county, but historically have had fans from all over - including Europe thanks to our exploits in the UEFA Cup under Sir Bobby!
