Thank you very much for the excellent video, I would have one question, I have the opposite problem, the heat goes fine, but when I turn on the cooling, the air does not go out of the fan, it can be heard that it circulates somewhere, but does not come out. Do you think the repair procedure is the same as in this video? Thank you very much for your reply.

I have a BMW 3 series E92 and it blows cold air to the driver's side... Thought it may be the flap door stuck somewhere. Dissasembled half of the interior and didn't find anything. I reckon now it may be a sensor as well
Having similar problems in my 8p and it says heater gone but doesn't look like it so then it took the switch out blowing warm air on 28 I wondering where or what is the name of them fuses thanks 😊
Hi there, Hope you can answer this for me as I also need to get a similar issue sorted on my A6. You stated that when you set the heater to high (HI) it overrides the sensor. My question is : before you started working on this were you able to get hot air from the vents when you set the passenger side to HI? Appreciate any feed back regarding this. Thanks for the video:)
Would this issue cause the coolant to become over pressured? Left side of the heating is cold and right side is warm. I end up losing all my coolant after 10minutes of driving
What about a1 without the same heating system would it still be the same sensor to buy as I’m having the same problem but the dials on the heater are different
Im not going to add part numbers as they may be different depending on the car, a little bit of research is needed or just take the part out of your car to find out exactly what you need!
have you not thought about fitting auto lights to your car? i have an audi a3 8p without auto lights and i read a lot of forums and the main solution was having to replace the windshield as that’s where the rain sensor is. however i stumbled across someone who created a solution for this with a simple connector with a sensor at the end.
Does anyone know is my 2012 S6 avant has the same sensors and motors in the same position? As I have no hot air at all through any of my vents. Or is that more likely to be something else causing it? Cheers
Pretty useless video . Half of it the guy is just driving and talking. Then he just jumps/ cuts the most important parts . Where is the temp sensor located ? How did you remove it ? How did you changed the motor for the valves ? Very superficial mate .
Would this be the same for my dads seat Althea XL 2 L diesel 2010 has cold air conditioning, and cold air only just no hot heat could it be the resistor or thermostat?

Got abit of a issue on my a4 were for some reason all heaters blow fine etc the car gets to operating temp but my heaters are always cold

Mate when u fitted the honeycomb grill could you have refitted the chrome surround or is it a no go?
I think its one piece mate, but you can buy them with a brushed aluminium look surround!

my car blows hot air but only when i start driving so hopefully its that little motor that is the issue

Exactly what my A6 is doing mate. Drivers side and rear is all cold
