Nice choice of the paint color! It’s looks really cool 😎 That little piece that sticks out to hold the landing board is so clever as well! You done did it again Mike! Impressive 👍🏼
Great videos! I love the decision you made on your racing loft landing board/aviary. I was torn on my loft also, and decided to do with a removable aviary cage that sits on a landing deck. (See mine at Honeymoon Loft). But I think I am going to change mine to a opening with landing board extension like yours. That will save me a lot of cage movements! Can't wait for you to get your race birds. It is a great sport, and you have outfitted that loft nicely. Congrats!
Thanks for watching, It has been so much fun doing these things for the pigeons! check out my new racers. th-cam.com/video/bHB3dJVpb-E/w-d-xo.html also I know you will like this little loft th-cam.com/video/aaNJGe0QyWQ/w-d-xo.html I subscribed to your channel and your loft is really cool also - I like the open air concept! have a great day my friend.
That platform and aviary is awesome. Do you have a latch that holds the platform in place when closed? Also, do you just use a long bolt to hold the spinning support in place? I am going to build this!
Hey Matt, I’m glad you like the aviary. The doors do not latch because they are heavy enough in my opinion to Stay shut you can add a latch easily if you like. And yes there is a heavy duty screw holding the support in the center. Best of luck building it I hope it turns out great.
I have not seen any problem with the pigeons feet and they have been on wire their whole life. I'm glad you like the video and found it interesting, thanks for watching
Going to be starting my loft this week, it's going to be the second floor of my barn. Going to build this same type of setup. What were the dimensions that you used height and depth, and do you still like they size? Thanks
I think I would go 3' deep because 2' is a little tight when they are all out there. 3 deep 2 high and 10' long. I'm glad you like the setup - thanks for watching and I hope your build goes well. I would love to see a picture when your done. rockyridge0725@gmail.com
There are too many issues with my local racing club and also I don’t think they are going to race this season. I really don’t have any normal racing pigeons I was expecting to get 25 of the ones I wanted but that has been canceled. There’s always next year, and I am looking forward to it. Thanks for the comment you seem very nice.
The only reason is because I had them available and those are roofing nails which don’t tend to rest so I’m sure it would work well both ways but I always tend to use what I have on hand. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching
Mr. Rocky I want to make like this pigeons building Loft how much it will Cost please can you give some idea this pigeons building is Great and looks very strong
@@sdfsfklugi You should choose a screw size that is twice the width of the wood so in this case 3". The actual dimentions of this lumber is 1-1/2 x 2-1/4" because it's a 2 x 6 ripped in half.
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons thanks alot, 1 more question you see how at 1:36 you drill the under and above the material how did you did this without hitting the two screws that hold the material together, and do you think 1x2 would work or 2x3 would work better, thanks so much for replying by the really apprecciate it
@@sdfsfklugi I used heavier lumber because the unit was large and needed the strength to keep it strait. If you have a smaller one you could probably get away with 1x2 lumber. I didn't hit the other screws because I kept them offset for that reason. 👍

Hows the rollers?
Thank you! Another awesome video. 👏🏼. How did you make the pieces of wood swing like that?
thanks for the compliment, There is one heavy 4" screw in the center that it pivots on. Glad you liked the video. 🙏

I like the cage I would like to have the dimensions on the cage
Came out great. How are the pups doing.
Hey Arcee, thanks and the puppies sold out in 6 days. So I hope they are doing great. Thanks for asking my friend.👍
Just curious why use nails as opposed to netting staples? Didn't know if there was an advantage to it in this type of build.

Can you provide a link or description of the galvanized wire mesh you used.
Thanks
Sure it is 16 guage - 1 x 1/2 galvanized. It’s great stuff. 👍
@@Rocky.Ridge.Pigeons I did see that in the video, sorry to ask. Thank you so much for responding. I ordered some from Amazon
عمل جيد و متقن
I'm new to this so, why did you split the coop in the middle? Is it for males and females?
Yes that was the reason, I have since removed it and let the pigeons mingle. They seem to be much happier this way. Thanks for asking
Mr. Rocky I want to make like this pigeons building Loft how much it will Cost please can you give some idea this pigeons building is Great and looks very strong
The materials cost around 1000 - 1200. Thanks for the compliment!

Mr. Rocky do you make only for you
Or you can make on Order for Customer ?
How much cost for pigeons loft 10 by 12 ft can you tell me thank you
If you build it yourself the materials will cost between 1000 and 1500. If you buy a shed that size it will be over 3000
Great job sir but I don’t see much of your ventilization around
You are correct Marvin, I have added ventilation since I made that video. Thanks for your comment.
