it is fascinating how two different wild animals can have friendly interactions under the right circumstance, and also how a wild animal can form such a bond with a human and actually show love and concern for the human
I befriended a baby emu in my poultry class. It was heartwarming for me, and I miss him. He grew too big to go to my school which was sad for me to hear. This video reminded me of that experience, and I loved the bond the owner shared with the emu.
When i was a kid my baby sitter owned a massive farm. We feed the emu mid day with corn in old coffe cans. See you would walk to the center of the field which was massive. Long story short the first time i was asked to feed them i went out started to throw corn and they were not having it they wanted the whole can. So they chased me they were full sized it was like being chased by valasraptor off jurassic park😄. That was my first experience with them lol.
Ernie is amazing, I wish I had an Ernie. He is the coolest, sweetest, smartest animal I have ever seen. You are so lucky to have him. He deserves all the attention and love in the world.
