    Positive should be put in first negative last. Charge comes from negative if positive is already hooked up the charge has some where to go!

    Great explanation mate. Is there away to change the input amperage to the battery? My Tracer2210 seems to be very low at 1.0 amp max on a sunny day.

    As soon as you connected the solar panels they registered and showed they were charging the battery, mine is not showing the arrow to show it's charging the battery and can't work out why???????

    Hi, what about the load output voltage ? for a "12V" battery, is the load output remains 12V constant ? associated max discharge amp is 10A ? Thanks

    Hi! Great video. I was wondering if you could help, as the manual is not very clear! Apologies for the basic question, but my charge controller is flashing an empty battery and flashing the warning symbol which means 'battery over discharged'. I'm unsure how this happened, but the manual just says 'when the battery voltage is restored to or above LVR the load will recover'. But how will this happen? Do we need to just leave it charging or reset it somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

    Looking at the screen it seems that the "not charging" icon is showing, rather than the sun icon. I am having this issue and in fact it is not charging the battery. What's with that icon (like a black sun with a line through it)?

      Hi Peter. If its a 12v system then you could use 20amp cable as your only kicking out around 5 amps from each output terminal. Thicker cable is always preferred though as it will aid the resistance side of ohms law. Feel free to send me pics if I can be of service.

    • @joeamos-somasystemspvbatte6
      @joeamos-somasystemspvbatte6  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You will need to change settings as they are default to lead acid. Your lithium ones will need a higher voltage.

    Hi, yup, I am new to all of this, I have a bank of 6 12 volt batteries wired to produce 24volts output, each battery has 6 cells, so will the controller figure this out? Or do I input 36 cells... Ps battery is lead acid

      No reason why it wouldn't but I would check the vehicle charging voltage and floor voltage. Some solar chargers can be adjusted to match the spec of certain batteries, so in principle.....yes.
      Many camoer vans use these with a split charge controller which works fine.
